4 New Jaguar Land Rover models displayed at 11th Auto Expo 2012 : Jaguar Land Rover has displayed four new models, consisting of C-X75 and C-X16, in India for the first time ever at the ongoing 11th Auto Expo 2012.



Fiat Auto India launches first Fiat Caffe in India : Fiat Auto India has announced the launch of the first Fiat Caffe, a car dealership outlet in India.



Toyota unveils new version of Prius at 11th Auto Expo 2012 : Toyota has unveiled a new version of its hybrid sedan Prius in India. It is priced in the range of Rs 27.39 lakh and Rs 29.41 lakh.



Ducati's 'Monster' M795 unveiled at 11th Auto Expo 2012 : Ducati, an Italian mobike brand, has introduced 'Monster' model M795 at the 11th Auto Expo 2012 here. This motorcycle has been priced at Rs 6.99 lakh. The Monster will be available at the three dealerships of the firm.



Mahindra & Mahindra introduces electric car at 11th Auto Expo 2012 : Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has unveiled the concept electric car - NXR - from Mahindra Reva at the ongoing 11th Auto Expo 2012. The company has been working on the concept of an integrated ecosystem to offer that kind of a transport solution.



Force Motors' Traveller-26 unveiled at Rs 11.5 lakh : Force Motors has unveiled 'Traveller-26', which is the world’s largest monocoque van, at the ongoing 11th Auto Expo 2012 here. It is priced at almost Rs 11.5 lakh. The company has also introduced a hybrid variant of its commercial vehicle 'Traveller'.



Renault to unveil 3 vehicles by 2012-end : Renault's introductory product in the Indian market has been Fluence, which has been unveiled in May last year before the launch of luxury SUV, Koleos in September. Pulse is a hatch-back and it has been priced between in the range of Rs 5.77 lakh-Rs 6.25 lakh.
Duster would be produced in India with strong local content and made available in both petrol and diesel variants. It will be affordable. It has also plans to raise the store count to 100 by the end of the present year from 35 currently.



Polaris India introduces range of powersports vehicles : Polaris India, an off-road vehicle manufacturer, has unveiled its range of powersports vehicles 'Sportsman90' and 'RangerRZR' in India. It is priced at Rs 3.2 lakh and Rs 5.5 lakh, respectively and aimed under 18-age group.



Maruti Suzuki India to introduce MPV Ertiga : Maruti Suzuki India, a car maker, has decided to unveil multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Ertiga by the end of March or starting of April this year. The new seven seater compact MPV has been introduced at the 11th Auto Expo 2012.



Hero MotoCorp unveils first hybrid scooter 'LEAP' at 11th Auto Expo 2012 : Mr Pawan Munjal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp, said, “This is a first-ever series hybrid scooter from India. We are showing the rest of the world that we have arrived. We will definitely product ionise it in future. We have to work a lot for launching it commercially. So it will take sometime.”



General Motors India introduces 2-new vehicles under Chevrolet brands : General Motors India has introduced two-new vehicles under the Chevrolet brands that will be unveiled in the country later this year. The Chevrolet Sail (premium hatchback) and Chevrolet MPV Concept are the first two products from GM’s joint venture with Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation.



BMW's M5 luxury sedan launched at 11th Auto Expo 2012 : BMW unveiled its M5 luxury sedan in the Indian market. It comes with the price tag of Rs 95.9 lakh. The new model can be ordered as a completely built-up unit (CBU) across over 20 dealerships in India.



Tata Motors launches New Safari & Two Commercial Vehicles at 11th Auto Expo 2012 Tata Motors have unveiled its new Safari SUV model and two commercial vehicles (CVs) at the 11th Auto Expo 2012, which had kick off yesterday at the national capital. The event had witnessed the presence of Mr Cyrus Mistry. It was his public appearance as the Chairman-designate of Tata Motors. While the Safari 'Storme', Tata Ultra CVs and the Tata LPT 3723 5-axle rigid truck will be unveiled this year, the auto maker had displayed four-concept alternate fuel vehicles - Nano CNG, Indigo Manza diesel-electric hybrid sedan, Starbus fuel cell and the Magic Iris CNG.



BMW launches iconic Mini brand in India with four models at 11th Auto Expo 2012 : BMW has unveiled its iconic Mini brand in India with four models priced up to Rs 31.99 lakh after having decided against such a move during the early period. This brand has been unveiled at the 11th Auto Expo 2012, which has kicked off yesterday. The auto maker has unveiled four variants of the Mini. While the Mini Cooper will be priced Rs 24.9 lakh, the Mini Cooper S has been priced at Rs 27.9 lakh.



Harley-Davidson unveils 2 bikes in India at Auto Expo 2012 : FXDB Street Bob, the 1,600cc bike is priced at Rs 9.95 lakh, as announced by Mr Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley Davidson India. The other bike FXDC Super Glide Custom, is a powerful custom-styled bike with a lot of chrome detailing, and will be priced at Rs 11.5 lakh, a reduction of Rs 4 lakh compared to its CBU price of last year.




Suzuki Motorcycle India unveils Hayate 110 cc bike, Swish125 scooter at Auto Expo 2012 : Two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motorcycle India, has showcased its all new Suzuki Hayate, the 110 cc mass production motorcycle and 125cc scooter Swish 125, at the Auto Expo 2012. SMIPL's new motorcycle and a value packed scooter is priced at Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,431, respectively at ex-showroom of Delhi.

Royal Enfield's Thunderbird 500 unveiled at Auto Expo 2012 : Royal Enfield, a motorcycle manufacturer, has introduced its 500 cc bike Thunderbird 500. The firm has not yet disclosed the price of the new model, which was unveiled at the 11th Auto Expo 2012.




Hyundai Motor unveils concept MPV 'Hexa Space' at 11th Auto Expo 2012 : Auto manufacturer Hyundai Motor India, has showcased its concept multi-purpose vehicle (MUV) 'Hexa Space' at the 11th Auto Expo 2012, kicked off here today at Pragati Maidan here. Hyundai Hexa Space can accommodate eight passengers and hexagonally-shaped seats are ideal for optimum space utilisation. The vehicle is primarily designed for urban customers in the 30-40 age group.



Launch of Nissan Evalia : 'Nissan Evalia' is known as NV200 and it is also Nissan's answer to Mahindra's Xylo and Toyota’s Innova. The Evalia is a seven-seater vehicle. It comes with sliding doors and three-forward facing seat rows with the first and last being the individual seats. The features list will be having power steering, reverse camera and an intelligent key. Evalia comes with a 1.5-litre DCI engine producing anything between 85-105PS.




Hyundai's new Sonata unveiled at 11th Auto Expo 2012 : It will be having 2.4-litre engine, a direct injection, 4-cylinder inline engine with the highest power in the sector with a power output of 201PS at 6300rpm and maximum torque of 25.5kgm at 4250rpm.
