Incorporated as AIAM over 39 years ago¸ it has given the industry a social face, with increasing emphasis on environment and safety related issues. SIAM was formed in 1998, and all the members of AIAM have now become its members, in addition to 3 new members. SIAM is an important channel of communication for the Automobile Industry with the Government and National and International organizations.. The Society also aims to play a pro-active role in creating awareness on important matters like Road Safety and Environment Protection.
