BMW has revealed a new ‘Coupe’ version of i3 electric vehicle at Los Angeles Auto Show. The i3 Coupe is comes with several changes compared with previous iterations. The Coupe offered more production and safety friendly side treatment and glassy heavy design for a more conventional beltline.
It’s interior design also revealed, featuring more realistic controls. The rear valance has also been reshaped, with production-necessary reflectors now integrated. The i3 Coupe is built on same 2570mm wheelbase as the earlier 5-door concepts and it maintains the 5-door’s 2+2 seating configuration.
The 125kw/250Nm electric motor driving the rear wheels through a single-speed transmission and powered by a lithium-ion battery cell. If the i3′s battery runs too low, the car will switch to Eco Pro+ automatically.
The i3 Coupe‘s top speed to 56 mph.
