The latest buzz to rock the Indian Car Industry is 'Tata Aria', developed by Tata Engineering in collaboration with Italian design house IDEA Institute. Based on Safari platform, Tata Aria competes with Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo. Aria is Tata Motors first cross-over car in India. Tata Motors did not leave any stone unturned to promote this new entry. Sporting a 2.2-litre common rail diesel engine, the Aria blends the functionality and comfort of a mid-range MUV with the all-terrain assurance and premiums of a SUV. With Aria, Tata Motors has become the first Indian manufacturer to offer safety features that include 6 airbags and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).


It comes with seating arrangement of three rows and features such as 3D surround sound, dimming roof lamps, in-dash built in GPS, infotainment system, multi-functional steering wheel. It is also equipped with dual air conditioning with automatic climate control and cruise control, ABS and ESP. The chassis frame composes advance hydro formed members, a stiffened body cage, and dual zone collapsible steering. Special care has been taken for customers so that they glide into the car instead of climbing Towards it.
