Swaraj school bus, developed by Swaraj Enterprise, has been specifically and exclusively designed to cater to the segment of school going children. The bus is powered with a 4 cylindered in-line OHV diesel run engine with a compression ratio of 17 : 1.

Swaraj school bus has a synchromesh gear box with five forward and one reverse gear. The bus comes with a leaf spring, double acting shock absorber. This vehicle is equipped with a recirculating ball type steering with variable gear ratio. The bus is also featured with dual circuit hydraulic vacuum assisted brakes and has standard tyres for both front and rear.
