Aston Martin Rapide

Its been quite long time we heard of Aston Martin Rapide. It has been officially unveiled at Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009. This super luxurious sport saloon will compete with likes of Audi a7, Lomborghini Estoque and Porsche Panamera. Aston Martin Rapide is a 4 door sedan with four individual seats. All the Aston Martin models are designed with utmost care to deliver maximum comfort and ensure safety driving. Rapide V12 will probably be the first sedan model from Aston Martin cars which is famous for sport performance cars. Aston Martin did fabulous engineering job in creating this power packed sedan model.

This new sedan soon to be on road is loaded with power pack of 5935cc V12 engine which can generate 470 bhp at 6000 rpm and maximum torque of 600 Nm at 5000 rpm. Highest speed is expected to be 303 kmph with a compression ratio of 10.9:1. It is equipped with an active bypass valves which is again fully catalyzed stainless steel. Aston Martin Rapide is powered with 6 gear automatic transmission, tilted power-assisted steering which is speed-sensitive, front and rear suspension with independent double wishbone.

Aston Martin v12 has scintillating interiors, designed with both front and rear heated seats, front seat which is electrically operated, automated front and rear temperature control, enabled parking sensors in both front and rear. It enables you to play windows media audio via USB connector. Integrated Apple iPod connector makes travel more convenient for you. Apart from these features Aston Martin did not compromised with safety measures which is companies primary concern. It has special airbags for head protection airbags for both rear and front, separate driver and passenger airbags, side airbags, altogether equipped with 12 safety airbags. First aid kit and ashtray and cigarette lighter cannot be left out. ABS, EBD, EBA, EPB, Positive Torque Control and traction control are considered normal features for Aston Martin models. This first sedan model from the sports performance car maker might be priced at 2.60 crore INR. Although the launching date hasn't been finalized, already pouring in with lines of booking inquiry.
