REVIEW : I am a proud owner of 1996 last white contessa classic
diesel,very satisfied with road performance even now with a mileage of 17
kmpl with a/c on normal travel conditions(with a combination of high
speed,ruggy roads,city ride and smooth drives and full pack)it is smooth on
high speeds of 120 kmph and brake is powerful. Absolutely safe journey and
secure feeling especially with Kerala road topography. I think HM should
relaunch contessa with a little variation suiting todays design in body
shape only. The present design is excellent,but a model similar to Innova is
also fine. I think HM should give India back the emperor on road.

REVIEW : I live today in US but Contessa is still the car I love to
ride when I return to India every other yr. It's a shame that HM has stopped
it's production..parts are hard to come by..they should revive the model
with a 3.5 L 265hp V8 SEFI DOHC engine with Variable Valve Timing mated with
a 6 speed Automatic Transmission or CVT with AWD. The wheelbase can be
around 2800mm, length 4500mm,height 1550 mm and 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS
and ESC and Rollover Control, seat belts, airbags,power steering,power
windows,push start etc.

REVIEW : Hi guys, good to see there were many contessa lovers. Well
i am 27 hardcore in automobile, I love to drive V8,RWD high horse powered
cars, i live in USA. I want to buy some chevy crate V8 engine mostly the
364cid and drop it in this beauty and beef up the suspension, tyres and
brakes and some customized paint........viola then this beauty is crazzzzyyy
to rip the tyres. I did lot of research on this beauty this car is baically
a Vaxhaul Victor, so the chassis can hold the V8 or else problem we can beef
the chassis too with the core points welded. anyway i have this projected to
be started soon so that i can enjoy my short holidays in India, well i cant
drive fast here in USA as I am scared of loosing license as I was lost my
license and was arrested in Australia for reckless driving but in india
money talks so its like chaltha attitudes, no one cares, finally my budget
is around 20lakhs for this nice project.

REVIEW : I own a contessa of 1998 diesel model and a civic for 2007
model but i find the contessa is the best car I have ever driven in my life.
I request you to please come with a upgraded model with a sporty look on the
car bcoz when i drive my car people cannot recognize weather its a contessa
or a sports car bcoz i have modified it with giving it a red colour 15inch
macwheel two door and a convertible top. It looks like a ford mustang i

REVIEW : I own a 1988 contessa classic 1.8gl. Its the best bet on a
highway cruise. My car sported a K&N filter and a free flow exhaust.
Man,it sounded glorious and really ment business on road. I could smoke away
cars of the new generation on a highway. I have travelled the entire set of
the south zone of India in it and the only fault I had was a fan belt snap.
HM's decision to stop this beaty was jolt from the sky. I urge them to
consider new versions of the contessa. It is a cult and people love cults.

REVIEW : This is one of the finest cars ever sold in India. I still
possess a 1992, petrol model n still love it. With 600 L of trunk space it
beats even the Merc S Class !!!!! The long classy body makes the interiors
very comfortable.The 1st Indian car to have 5 link independent suspension,
electronic ignition, synchromesh gearbox, 5 speed transmission with
overdrive in addition to a no.of firsts to its name.And then there is that
super smooth 1817 cc, 88 bhp(engines imported from Japan) 13.8 kgm engine
which can still put to shame most of the new cars. A relaxed highway cruiser
is what this beauty is. It reminds of the American Ford Mustangs which have
become a cult. In short, this cars rocks n im saying this after a 15yr long
association with it !!!!!! PS: misers having an eye on fuel efficiency, this
isnt the one 4 u.....

REVIEW : I bought secondhand Contessa Classic 2.0 DSL in June 2005.
I have travelled a lot in my car. Per day travelled more than 800 kms., and
imagine no fatigue. Fresh again the next day to tavel. Very reliable and
comfortable car. I have used 175 - 80 - R 13 radial tyres, which has
slightly risen the ground clearance. Easy and low maintenance cost as the
parts are similar to Ambassador Isuzu. Me and my family love the Contessa.
It's a Royal Saloon on Wheels.

REVIEW : Even while I work in Saudi Arabia still I dream of bringing
my Contessa from Lucknow . The long and powerful cars plying on the road
remind me of my contessa which i still think is the best and the most safe
car with longest crumble zone. My father still loves to drive it on the
