Ford Kuga

The Ford Kuga will arrive in India market soon with a fresh face. It has already been released in European markets, and the manufacturer is quite happy to launch car in India as there aren't many crossover SUVs found in the Indian car market that would challenge the Ford Kuga!

This C segment car will be armored is expected to be launched in both diesel and petrol renditions, namely Kuga Dura Tec (Petrol) with a DuraTec 2522cc engine, and the Kuga Dura Torq (Diesel) with a with a DuraTec 1997cc engine. The Ford Kuga will be equipped with six speed manual transmission. Further, its longer wheelbase provides a spacious cabin and it comes with a small cargo with 47.9 cubic feet capacity. The overall length of Ford Kuga is same as For Escape, but it has a longer wheel base.

Ford Kuga's stylish exterior include roof rails, heated glass, large sunroof and a back up camera. The premium quality materials have been used for the interiors, especially, the recaro sports front seats with partial leather trim looks – elegant indeed!

Other notable features are its automatic headlights and rain sensing wipers, tyre deflation detection system, heated windscreen, dual –zone automatic climate control, ford free key start and rear parking distance sensors.

The entertainment facilities of the Ford Kuga include a Sony 6 CD audio system, enhanced connectivity with Bluetooth, voice control and USB port.

To keep you safe during your journey, Kuga's engineers have decided to include 4 airbags, fog lamps, 3 rear seat belts, parking sensors, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESP) technologies within the car.

The cross-over expected to be launched in early 2011, is being said to be priced at about Rs. 16.5 lacs.
