diesel bandwagon and has decided to launch diesel version of
SUV in the Indian auto Market.
CR-V stands for “Comfortable Runabout Vehicle.” With the launch of
the CR-V diesel, the company would have made its foray into the diesel
segment by early 2011. And with high performance diesel cars becoming
popular by the day, CR-V diesel is expected to win over many of its petrol
counterparts from other brands.
CR-V diesel is equipped with CRDi (common
rail diesel engine), with a displacement of 2200cc with 4 cylinders,
generating a maximum power of 134bhp and delivering a torque of 347Nm. The
engine available in CR V diesel is very efficient, quick and silent. The
Mileage offered by CR-V diesel is 18 Kmpl on highways and 14 Kmpl in the
city traffic. The Honda CR-V diesel has a fuel tank capacity of 58 ltrs with
a kerb weight of 1535Kgs.
While the trendy and cozy interiors would offer maximum comfort to
occupants, the exteriors of the car would provide stunning, sleek and
stylish looks.
Features such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Fog lamps and Safety Air
bags have been installed to ensure a safe and a pleasant drive. The price of
CR-V diesel version is expected to range between Rs. 25 - 30 lacs.
