REVIEW : looking out for used car, found a 2005 model accent car
costing rs 3.35 lakhs. anyone pl tell me is it worth buying?v r family
of 3. usage of abt 80kms a week. wuld also like to know the maintenace
cost. i am having confusion between hyundai accent and ford ikon. pl put

REVIEW : Hi guys .. got a Hyundai Accent GVS (2002) model on
19th August 2009..the only reason I purchased it was because it was in
excellent condition .. I had a mechanic frd of mine to check it
out...and he sed it was excellent ..the old owner got new tyres ... new
battery .. and driving is pretty smooth .. especially on bad roads ...
the average i get is 12.8kmpl...city without result .... Its an
excellent car .... Love it ...

I am From Bangalore i own Hyundai accent GLE 2006 model Black Color
Since 3 months i have a problem in the Car
i run my car twice in a week . it works fine, its an awesome car but
when i travel and stop/turn off the car to purchase anything for 5-10
minutes and try to start the the car wont start i will need to push the
car to start it up , but that happens only once but happens everytime i
remove my car i had been to Advaith Hyundai in Vasant nagar where they
advised me to change the CKP Sensor i changed it 1 month ago but the
problem has started again
Please suggest me on what can be done

REVIEW : Recently I purchased an ACCENT Executive. It is best
bargain in these days. I maintained Santro for 9 years trouble free
performance . In accent I feel that driver seat should be with
adjustable height. More Leg space between stearing wheel will boost its
confort and sale also. a provision for centre arm rest in Rear seat as
in dezire will be an additional advantage if added.

REVIEW : i have a 2004 model accent gls such a nice car to drive
, i have driven it on mumbai pune expressway above 140 now i drive it on
120 130 on delhi agra or agra jaipur highway . i lived i usa before i
have drive lots of car including bmw 3 series mustang but i like hyundai
accent perfect for indian road.

REVIEW : I have been driving my Accent Executive for 10 to 11
months now. The car is amazing.
I have been a Hyundai customer for the last few years owning a Santro
and now going for a bigger brother.
The drive is smooth. The car handles the potholes and bad roads
excellently. The car also handles high speeds also excellently. The car
is very silent and the pickup is excellent. It gives a good FE too. I am
getting 13 with AC in city (Ahmedabad Full traffic) and 16 to 17 gives
in highway mileage with the average speed of 90 km.
My car is running almost 14000 km in 10 months . After 6000km I am
installing CNG kit in my care from outside dealer point . There is no
problem in CNG also and my car running cost for 1 km with AC +City
traffic = 1.3 rs/km .there is no pickup problem and I suggest this is
the best option.
The driving position is comfortable. The tilt steering is very useful.
The front seats are very comfortable. The interiors are excellent. The
colour combinations, the dashboard, etc. AC is awesome (more effective
form Honda City ) .
The car comes with lots of features like rear defogger, keyless entry ,
wood finish dash, body colored bumpers and side mirrors, tilt steering,
leather wrapped steering ,gear knob and battery saver .
There are a few drawbacks or shortcomings as well that Hyundai should
have considered and that too being the only variant on offer. MP3 player
and speakers should have been on offer for free or including in cost ,
seat height adjustment should have been present and most importantly no
fog lights.
These features mentioned here are by no means luxuries but basic
necessities in a car and should be a standard fitment in this day and
age .
This great deal. Gives good value of our money.
Overall, the car is a really amazing toy that one can pick up for a
good price. So if anyone is considering this car, close your eyes and go
in for it.

test drive and analysis of Accent car before going to purchace any big

REVIEW : Having used honda city Gxi 2001 I find Accent GLE more
unstable and a mileage of 9km/ liter in city roads dont have to comment
on the service really unprofessional. I am missing my old car suggesting
not to buy Accent but hipe your budget to get a Honda City than loosing
money 5.5lacs on an Accent

REVIEW : Good car, better pick up, easily do 140 steady on
Pune-Mumbai express highway, also touch 160-70. Poor service by Sharyu
Hyundai in Navi Mumbai. Lots of problems during every service / denting
painting. Bearing noise, steering vibration noted. But Honda City is
much more smooth and steady while being much better on mileage.

REVIEW : Hi, I recently purchased a Hyundai Accent 1500cc petrol
manual. It is a 2 year old car. A very comfortable to drive car. All the
while I was driving Japanese Model cars which are rather expensive in
Singapore. So to save money I bought an Accent. The agent here do a
wonderful service very professional and very personalised. Thank you but
I am not very sure how many km/litre will this car give for city
driving. A cgood car any way phasing out in Singapore, as this is a
Vibrant City as things moove very very fast. Bye

REVIEW :I have recently purchased an Accent GLS car and am truly
impressed by the car and its performance. I have driven a small car(
Maruti 800) for the last 5 years and had kind of got use to the pick and
AC but since I purchased the Accent its difficult to drive the Old car,
I do love my old car but ….
Traveling in the Accent make even the worst road conditions / traffic a
pleasure to drive. My advice to all looking for a big car to take a test
drive in the Accent before making your choice.

REVIEW : I have purchased GLE in 2005. It is very good so far.
Mileage is approx 11.5 in city and upto 16 in Highway. Only concern is
the service from the dealer (Sanjay Hyundai). Quality of service is very
poor and complete unprofessional.

Accent viva crdi i just took delivery on 30th april 2006. Average is
very good but why the engine vibrate sound is littlebit more on 1st and
2nd gear? after 3rd gear its noiseless. good pickup just like petrol
car.

...it gave me approx 15+ on highway on AC ..with in city 11.5+
bad part is i got this from Sanjay Hundai-Pune . bad service and not a

Nice car. I took my car in June 2005 and has completed more than 33500
kms till date. Very reliable performance Never had any major troubles.
Brake pad changed at 25000 kms. Apart from that minor issues like the
front panel which includes the A/c switches and stereo rattled during
journey on bad roads. The issue was quickly rectified by Hyundai.
Service of Hyundai (Popular Hyundai, Cochin) top class....We'll feel as
if we are a VIP when we go there. Average mileage with A/c on is arnd
12.9 km/l. Have obtained 17.07 km/l on highway journeys. City mileage
haven't checked exactly, anyway the worst mileage ever obtained is 11.15
km/l
Good car overall but aged model. Prospective buyers good car to afford
but if interested in hyundai cars worth waiting for the new accent.
Maintenance costs less compared to other manufacturers including Maruti
if you're servicing your cars with authorised dealers.

I purchased my viva CRDI in october 2005. This is a wonderful car
performance and power is something you will be proud to be owning
one.while it is running it doesn't give the impression of diesel car.it
has got very good pick up.
But i faced a problem recently my turbo failed.I dont know how i asked
others but they said it is a rare problem.If anybody knows why turbo
fails then please post it

We bought accent gle in jan 2006 as a new year welcome gesture .HAVE
BEEN REALLY IMPRESSED BY ITS classy biege interiors; silent ride(as far
as refering to the 'c'segment cars);decent pick-up.what I personally
feel is that some features of accent gls should be incorporated in gle
too ;as already gls has a distinct edge with more powerful 1600 c.c.
dohc engine(gle has 1500 sohc engine);for this purpose a marginal price
hike by hyundai will be agreed by those genuinely keen on acc.
gle.mileage though o.k.,should becomparable to(13.5 kmp/l) honda city
,which is also 1500 c.c.car.Looks & appeal are great along with
greatlegroom .One fact that should BE HONESTLY ACCEPTED IS ITS SUPERB
SUSPENSION ;which is the only dual coil spring;oil filled type in its
entire segment.best value for money ,especially as our dealer gave us a
complimentary REMOTE ENABLED MP3 player with courtsey teflon coating &
remote central locking + fog lamps ;making it a true luxury sedan at a
cost much lower than honda city .Only one amendment to made is that
accent should come with twin headlamps & a leather seat option .
