Hyundai i40

After series of successful launch and whooping responses, now Hyundai Motor is ready for next move with another i-series model Hyundai i40 i10 and i20 has received tremendous response in India. This time Hyundai has come up with more innovative technology, the technology and the architecture in the new Hyundai is totally different from energy split technology used by rest competi- tors which allows intense advantage of being competent in performance. Hyundai Motor in India is aiming to become the largest car manufacturer and beat Maruti Suzuki which is leading amongst rest. New Hyundai i40 is a “C” segment car, highly luxurious and stands a chance to be replacing Hyundai Sonata and other models currently on road. Taking into account the fast growing market for luxury cars, this time Hyundai leaves no stone unturned to showcase their best. i40 is believed to be a blend of sedan, suv and muv. With its elegance styling of a SEDAN and robust body of an SUV it is being called as “four-door coupe”.

Hyundai i40 is empowered with displacement of 1991cc, four cylinder, power steering, seating capacity of 5, most interestingly six speed delivery and engine torque of 31kgm. It might come up with both diesel and petrol engine with maximum power of 180 – 196 bhp. This car might turn out to be the best fuel saver with a motive of clean environment. i40 is definitely a modified version with electric engine, hybrid starter generator and also the normal torque converter has been replaced.

It is featured with remote boot, central locking and fuel filler. For more comfort the rear armrest is fixed with a cup holder. Both the side has electric door mirror. It is even featured with electrically adjustable driver seat, optional leather seats, power window and tachometer.

Hyundai i40 will compete with mid sized luxury sedan from Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, Ford and other brands in luxury segment. With i40 it is likely to change people's perception about Hyundai Motors not only in India but in Europe as well.
