Lamborghini Sesto Elemento

Lamborghini, the 100 percent subsidiary of AUDI AG will be releasing Lamborghini Sesto Elemento in early 2012. This vehicle has incorporated new technology which will redefine the future of sports cars. In Italian Sesto Elemento means the “Sixth element” which refers to the carbon position in the periodic table.

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento comes with a 5200cc, V10 petrol engine capable of delivering power of 570bhp@8000rpm and a maximum torque of 540Nm@6500rpm. In just 2.5 seconds it can reach 100km/h and 300 km/h at top speed.

By using the carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) technology this vehicle has been constructed with a curb weight of 999Kg or 2,202lbs and includes a V10 power unit with a permanent all wheel fiber. The light weight construction is the key feature in this vehicle. The car's CRFP technology can be found in the car's body panels, crash boxes, major suspension components, front frame, in addition to the doors, on the floor, roof of the monocoque, center console and also on the cockpit.

The exterior is gorgeous and have a stunning look. The body has matt-shimmer clear coat finishing which lets CFRP structure and its texture visible throughout. The door comprises of two components, exterior skin and interior cladding bonded together permanently. It uses the minimalist approach to the interiors. The steering wheel provides the right ergonomic, it can be adjusted for height and reach and also by the pedals. Further the pedals can be electrically adjusted longitudinally.

There is no compromise in safety features, as the car includes many state-of-the-art safety technologies in this model. Fog lamps, Traction control, EBD, ABS, ESP, parking sensors and 8 Airbags have been installed in the vehicle.
