REVIEW : HI:Guys,I own Lancer Diesel because of one of my dearest
and adorable Mr.Riar (Virji) .Its running cost is very economical and is
fetching around 15 kms per litres with A/C (LOCAL) AND 18 KMS PER LITRE on
highways. So go for it and its looks are really cool.I am fully satisfied and
feel proud to own this car.

REVIEW : I have a cedia sports(white) in Bangalore.The car is
fantastic head turner and it responds to every driver input very well. The
rolling while cornering is a bit more(coz the suspension is on soft
side). But overall an efficient performer and the quality of some
stuff(ex:-a/c buttons have to improve!).The sports model could do with some
more power as most of us will be using it as a secondary car and the seats
befitting a 10lakh car.Steering response is good and one can get milage of
10/11kmpl in city easily.A good car with an execellent package but with a
pathetic marketing and exorbitant spare parts!.GM-please do your marketing
job else this all round performer will suffer an untold pain and fade away.

REVIEW : The worse car for Indian Roads... it has a HYDRAULIC Clutch
system which fails periodically, specially during Winters when the oil is
cold... The gears don't work then and you're stranded. Mitsubishi doesn't
een have roadside assistance.

REVIEW : Excellent rensponse...thats what this car is all
about...The cedia is any drivers fantasy....carrying with it the rally
legacy, this car surely does deliver...thiugh a touch low in power, it more
than makes up for it in its handling....You just cant get this thing off the
road...turns n corners are like a piece of cake at high speeds. The ABS +EDB
of the vehicle is amazing, does its job to perfection! As far as looks go,
Personally i think the sport model looks way better than the other
two....All in all its a car designed to make heads turn....n the steering
wheel too!

REVIEW : IFor those who dont want to read the this whole ownership
review. the car is an excellent machine. I will rate it 8/10 and certainly
worth over corolla, Elantra and optra.
But I expected them to bring in the 162hp Ralliart model to smoke the RS
along with the cedia elegance and not just the sports kit.
I bought my Yellow cedia sports in April and today my car has been run-in
enough for me to write a review.
Looks
People say Civic will be the most sporty car when it comes. But it's not
yet here and cedia is ready and the sportiest looking sedan in C+ segment.
The big dials are easy to read and doesnt divert attention as in the civic
coupe I drove last month with dual instrument clusters.
The rear lights remind me of the evo all the times. The front is chunky and
muscular but the Black smoked headlights leave a lot to be dsired. Fog lamps
are surprisingly missing.
HM's homework is always incomplete.
I plan to add fog lamps, white neon-kinda lights, 16" alloys with
Tubeless radials, fog lamps and a sunroof with moonroof. and yes blue led's
in the engine bay, under body and side-skirts.
interiors- I preffered the fabric to leather as it heats up a lot in
Vadodra. the carbon-metallic finish is so nice to touch you will forget
Optra's interiors. better touch and decide for yourself. Sitting is
comfortable for 3 at the back. I would have loved a sun-roof and some more
gizmos in the cabin though to make it as competitive as an optra. Allround
visibility is an asset in this car which lacks in the Civic thanks to the
A-pillar.
Stereo sounds as good as the competition but I will be adding an ice soon.
Again HM has done incomplete homework.
power and FE.
the 2.0 ltr engine is the same evo block and is pretty torquey. infact its
the torqiest car in its class. With such torque muscle the car is nimble and
effortless to drive in the city and acceleration is available in a spurt in
all gears. lets see the civic match this when it comes or the corolla, optra
and Elantra now. 120hp is a bit low considering elanra is 127 and corolla is
123 and the civic touted to be 125(usual 5hp detune from 130) but Cedia has
enough grunt to keep the cars in check.
0-100 maybe hardly a 1/10th of a second slower than the corolla but take it
to the track and corolla will be hard to find. Even the in-gear
accelerations are superb and overtaking is a breeze with the torque
available at demand. I didnt try the quarter mile as its my personal family
performance sedan and not a track sedan.
FE is around 10kmpl in the city with A/C and 13 on the highway. I am
planning on adding a turbo, 4-point iridium sparks,a free flow exhaust and K&N
conical free-flow with tube. Hope to make the power peak at around 160hp and
torque will blow the roof but still cost below Skoda RS's budget.
Ride and handling.
I don't know why Mitsubishi cars always feel the bump and crack of the
roads. Ride comfort is excellent except that the rear suspension is always
tuned by HM engineers to feel the bumps. My family slept all the way from
vadodara to Mumbai at 167kmph.
Handling is the best in the segment and competes with the likes of skoda RS
and Mondeo. Honda Accord is not even near. Take a turn at speeds above 130+
and you wont even loose a bit of your nerve.
A/C:- A/c is surprisingly good. in the heat of Vadodara it cools the cabin
in the 5 mins of my drive to the office at 10-00 in the morning everyday.
the blower is pretty silent the compressor doesnt put load on the engine. I
would have liked a climatronic control here though.
While many people whom I talked about the car said its expensive for what I
get, they ate their words after looking at my car and feeling the cabin
quality. half the people are not even aware of the cedia being on sale. bad
marketing by HM. Overall I would rate the car 8/10 due to HM's neglect but I
am happy with my car
