Scorpio has already bagged three awards, "Car of the Year", "Best SUV of the Year", and "Best Car of the Year". In next few months Mahindra will launch new Mahindra Scorpio Hybrid. This will be the first Indian hybrid car which is solely developed and designed by Mahindra itself. This new Mahindra SUV is considered the “green car” due to its high technology which helps burn less fuel and reduce emission. With inbuilt fuel smart technology it will be able to save 5 percent of fuel and your hard earned money as well. Mahindra car in India this time surely is going to compete with Land Rover.

Mahindra Scorpio Hybrid will be in two variants, diesel and electric. This new hybrid car has displacement capacity of 2.2 litres. It is equipped with 6 speed automatic transmission gear and power steering. The engine power is 270 bhp at 8500 rpm, fuel consumption of 8.8 kmph. The seating capacity is of 8 adults. Its new smart fuel technology enables you to off the engine when not required. The engine can be put into standby mode for few seconds and start it again when it is needed again. The standby duration can be preset.
