Mahindra Xylo Pick Up

Mahindra Xylo with the nature of an MUV and performance like that of an SUV, has definitely secured recognition for itself in the Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) market. Now, the Indian automaker is extending the vehicle’s appeal as a proper multi utility vehicle. The Mahindra Xylo Pick Up is the cargo-purpose version of the classical Mahindra Xylo and is expected to be available in India by the end of 2010. This multi utility vehicle model reflects the expertise of the manufacturer in designing cars of the same segment.

Mahindra Xylo Pick Up offers 7-seat capacity with adjustable seat for the driver. Safety feature includes rear seat belts and fog lamp. The Mahindra Xylo Pick Up comes with air conditioner which is without climate control. Featuring a 2498cc, CRDe, M-Eagle diesel engine, similar to the one found in the current Xylo, a maximum power of 112 bhp@3800rpm and maximum torque of 240Nm@1800rpm are expected from the engine of the Mahindra Xylo Pick Up. Other highlights of this multi utility vehicle include a power steering with front disk and rear drum braking system.

The colors and variants of Xylo Pick Up to be available in India have not yet been officially announced. As far as price is concerned, it is expected to be between Rs. 7.5 to 8 lakhs. Mahindra Xylo Pick Up will be launched in the American market too in the future. Nepal, Bhutan and South Africa are also amongst the markets that have been decided for Xylo Pick Up truck.
