REVIEW : Omni is very spacious and can accomadate more than 6, 7 people however the average of LPG is not too good (10KMPL). The technicans at the service station would not help in improving it's average considering that it is LPG according to them. Air conditioning is a must and Omni is not compatible with A/C

REVIEW : I have purchased OMNI 8 E in 2000.  The brake system requires servicing every 6 moths. I asked MUL about new OMNI LPG brake system but not getting answer. I want to purchase new OMNI LPG
Wagon R Duo is also good choice. But uit has 22 ltr LPG tank i. e. 250 km range. MUL is not answering about this also.

REVIEW : i purchased an Omni here in Mauritius. I am satisfied with this mini-van as it is value for money. Though I must say the braking system is unreliable and weak. Now with petrol prices shooting high, I request Maruti Udyog to fit a small Diesel engine in the Omni- same as they have fitted for grater fuel economy.

REVIEW : i have purchased Jan'01 model 8 seater. The car really doing very well and so far i didn't face any major problem. The main drawback with car is it doesn't come with AC and not AC compatible. Self- driven could be difficult. It is just like sitting on the engine and driving a vehicle. Whatever heat emitted by the engine will transfer to the driver. 7-8 person can go in the car.

REVIEW : I purchased this vehicle in the month of October 2003. in comparison with old Maruti car the new omni give less mileage @14kmpl only which i feel should be around 18 km pl. Secondly interiors are too badly designed. No looks at all. And the cushion at the roof started coming out of its bound after 6 months. My car broke down in between the road. Next day i was told by the service center guys that your car fuel pump is not working properly and have to replace it. The fuel pump costs me up to 4200 and all other charges including the fuel pump price was 5500. after 9 months from buying the car i have to change the fuel pump. Overall i feel the quality is deteriorated.

REVIEW : we can rate this car very bad because the braking system is totally unreliable. We also several times noticed that when you apply brake even with the running speed of 50 kms per hour, the vehicle always drags one side and goes to the next lane. This is very dangerous for not only the passengers of the car bot also people on the road. Even after all services the authorized dealers themselves could not diagonise the problem.

REVIEW : the car has some deficiencies. First, it does not have AC which is a necessity now a days. Secondly the car has chronic door slippage problems. The door screws need to be tightened every 200 kms. Sitting in the back in an 8 seater is not at all comfortable. The only advantage is that it is a good vehicle for a family of 6-8 members.

REVIEW : i have a 2000 OMNI XL 5 seater. It is a value for your money. At just around 2.5 lakhs- the space is incredible, excellent maneuverability, good gear boxes and an average 14 km pl. The car is running at almost a negligible maintenance. I simply love the driving posture. Cons are- the dash board and its lower part looks terrible. The sliding doors are extremely tough to handle for ladies and elderly people.
