New Maruti Suzuki SX4

The all new Maruti Suzuki SX4 is here. With revamped looks and advanced VVT technology engine, the new car from Maruti Suzuki India Limited is set to raise its own benchmark in luxury segment even further. The recently unveiled new Maruti Suzuki SX4 reflects the first changes since Maruti Suzuki SX4 launch in year 2007. While the exterior of the sedan does not have any changes, there has been some changes done in the interiors of the new car.

Engine
The new sedan comes with a newer engine and automatic transmission. The engine of new Maruti Suzuki SX4 comes with advanced VVT technology that is Variable Valve Timing technology. The VVT technology engine is believed to be more efficient and emit lesser carbon emissions than its predecessor, This sedan has 1.6-litre I4 VVT gasoline engine gives 103hp (77kW) and a high torque of 145Nm @4100 rpm. With the advanced features, the new sedan is a Bharat Stage-IV compliant. The new version of Maruti Suzuki SX4 is certified by the ARAI for its mileage of 15.6 km per liter.

On one hand where the new Maruti Suzuki SX4 retains its manual transmission, a four-speed automatic gearbox transmission variant of the new Maruti Suzuki SX4 is also available now. This variant would be liked by commuters of cities with increasing traffic as it would be easier to switch over to automatics to make the drive easier. An overdrive button is given on the shifter that would give the car a boost in power if it is necessary.

A Glance At the Interiors
While the new Maruti Suzuki SX4 has enhanced looks, the interior of this premium car is also spectacular. The refreshed interiors of car come in beige tone. The facelifted Maruti Suzuki SX4 also has some different features and new additions. The car has new illuminated stereo controls on the steering wheel. Amongst the few additions in the new Maruti Suzuki SX4 include a new auto climate control system, radio antenna in the windshield and a USB friendly audio system.
