REVIEW : Its a car or roadroller or a truck. Mileage is so bad that it gives only half kilometer in five litres of fuel.

REVIEW : I bought Nexia Delux in August 2000 and it has run 36,000 kms.I am extremly happy with its performance. It has very good road grip, zooms up fast and the A/c cooling is just superb. The only unfortunate thing is that, the company is not sending any positive signals regarding the future of Daewoo in India.I hope for the best.

REVIEW : My Nexia is one year and 10,000 km old. It accelerates like a rocket and zooms quickly to 120 km/h when you shift up consistently at 3500 rpm. At 120 on the Chembur-Vashi highway, it feels very stable and in control. Handling is outstanding. You can zip left and right between other vehicles lumbering along like tortoises, with scarcely any body roll. It came with Kumho 215 mm wide 60% profile radials which grip the tarmac with a rubber adhesive tenacity. The metallic paint is flawless, the pinstripes chic. The bigger-than-Cielo brakes retard speed smoothly, surely and with the urgency demanded. This is the executive sedan for the discerning. Also the reassuring car for tourist operators. Speedy curves produce no tire squeal, just a reassuring cocoon silent ride. The standard Daewoo stereo has four speakers, two below the windshield and two below the rear window. The 100 bhp Honda City's are too dimunitive to look classy and too light to grip the road at speeds above 90 km/h. Give us an Accord or a Prelude, then we'll look at Honda. Classy cars, the world over are large: Opel Omega, Volkswagen Passat, Buick Park Avenue, etc.,. The Indian motorist who has been class conscious from time immemorial appreciates the speed, silence and class of big cars when traveling abroad. Those of us who have enjoyed the Plymouth Savoys, Dodge Kingsways and Chevrolet Impalas of the late fifties, even the independent rear suspension of the Contessas are not comfortable with the claustrophobic Accents and Ikons and Citys. I would upgrade in future to the new Leganza if it becomes available or look at a used W124. The exterior design still appeals. So it looks like the Cielo. But who says the Cielo looks dated. I think it beats the tailless snub nosed Astra in looks. The Nexia's long snout with chrome on the radiator grille and cavernous luggage compartment with high boot lid topped by the sharp looking spoiler with integrated third brake light look cool. So do the flat and flush 14" wheel covers on low-profile, wide tires. That these Daewoos have been Euro II compliant from 1996 also helps. Wonder why the airbags and inertia reel 3-point belts in the rear seat were discontinued for India.
