Nissan Murano
The automobile industries to be hit by the SUV bug with major automobile
giants like Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Mitsubishi is launching SUVs. Nissan
Motors, one amongst such company will be adding another SUV and christened
Nissan Murano in 2009. The name originates from the region knew for hand
blew glass production the Venice. The design of the car is an unique
crossover ever to be sold in India. In India, Nissan Murano was expected to
launch in India 2009 with pricing range from 30lacs to 40lacs however the
launching got delayed.
Murano will be available to the Indian
car lovers in three levels:- the base - S, the mid-grade - SL and the top of
the line LE. The new look includes a reworked bumper and similarly
sculpted headlights and a new grille. With a powerful 3.5litre V6 engine, a
version of the award-winning V6 used in the Altima and Maxima sedans, the
Murano produces a potent 245bhp. It is a front wheel drive (FWD) vehicle.
Nissan Murano is the largest vehicle to have a CVT (Continually variable
transmission).
Designed with striking features and powerful engines, the Murano provides
