REVIEW : Hi. I bought my Opel Corsa 1.6. But, I got an average of 7Km/Lr in city condition. I am very surprise how people says it gives an average of 12-13 or more. Can any body please help me to understand, what exactly the problem? My Mail ID is fakhrudinsaifee@yahoo.co.in. Please post your comments.

REVIEW : Hi! I purchased a second hand corsa 1 year back - best in terms of performance 1.i am getting around 12-14 with AC on in the city 2. I am getting around 18.2 on the highways with an average speed of 90-100 km/hr 3. Spares is never a problem in chennai market (my experience)4. Excellent stability even at 140 KM/hr 5. Powerful AC and spacious interiors 6. Worssst Ground Clearance 7. Value for money - maintain well and inturn it gives you back the performance beyond your expectation 8.Excellent body shaping 9. Powerful engine (bit noisy) 10. Handy P.Steering. I still term it as "Middle Class Mercedez".

Please dont comment on a product without using it - I mean opel corsa is one product which was / is critisezed to the core in terms of mileage / Spares availability - Affordability.

fiat Palio, Opel Corsa, Opel Astra, Ford Ikon and Palio Stile are the cars that should be used before commenting on it. drive it to believe it

I would say confidently the above mentioned car owners will never be comfortable with any other cars - Even sitting on skoda or corrola or would be a thorn seat for them - My experience

REVIEW : Corsa is a good car but the spares are too expensive and many time you can't get it in authorized service center. GM should think for his indian customers who are facing problems by buying Corsa or Astra models.

REVIEW : Opel Corsa is still a super star. I love its gorgeous look and great  suspension of German quality. Of course, like other cars this also has got some negative points like poor ground clearance, low positioned seats etc. But its positive side supersedes all these things. I wonder why GM made such a foolishness to stop marketing this car. I got 2005 model and getting good milage of 16 km/litre. Superb na?

REVIEW : My exp with the new opel corsa is bad. I have had braking problems from 1500km and up to date gm can not fix this problem. I have done 18000km and stil no end in site of the problem. I bought a brand mew 2008 model corsa cdti.I have had endless problems with my brakes from 1500km and its still giving problems. Does not look like gm can fix the problem. So spare yourself and dont buy one.

REVIEW : Opel Corsa is pure german engineering although maybe not at its best.  The Aveo though is something else. I cannot agree with bittoo who said that american cars are the best in terms of safety. Far from true. It is the French and German machines who set the benchmark....the French with renault and the germans with bmw and vw group.  The japanese might come close although not quite as good. Going back to corsa though...if you are still driving marutis or other substandard cars, than corsa is a delight.  Corsa is truly a great budget car and a true supermini car.

REVIEW : I too own Opel's Corsa 1.6 GLS.  I am very much pleased with its performance. Great Pickup and a steardy car even at a high speed of 120 kmph.  Gives me an average of 10 kmpl in city and 16-17 kmpl on highways with AC on.  Great car.  GM should reintroduce this car in India.

REVIEW : While reading Opel Corsa reviews I cannot hide my surprise as many reviewers are talking about Aveo, not Corsa.and Aveo is from the brand name of Chevrolet, not Opel. One should understand that Opel Corsa comes from the factories of Adam Opel, a car manufacturer making cars for more than 100 years! The beauty is the safety, ride comfort, immaculate style and great pick up. We don’t understand why GM could not make it a success on the Indian road, whereas Aveo is their present offer to Indian public.Understand that GM is selling the Opel Corsa to the north American market and to Brazil and Poland. What exactly happened in India? Why only sell the Chevrolet brand in India when GM has Opel, Chevy, Cadillac, Saturn, plymouth, and other sports model to the international market! Can General Motors highlight us!

REVIEW : I am driving my Opel Corsa for about three years and am extremely pleased with its performance. The style is immaculate, the suspension is soft on a rough stretch, the inside is very comfortable and overall you feel secure for the solid body. I would recommend to GM to bring this car back again instead of selling some cheaper Korean cars in the name of Chevrolet! It is not a good marketing policy to withdraw Corsa from The Indian market and sell cheaper cars from acquisition in Korea. Instead GM should look into cost reduction exercise and bring back this beautiful car to compete with Tata Indigo, Huyndai Accent, Ford Fiesta and Maruti Esteem. They should also look into improving the mileage on local travel to atleast 12km/l. If they can position the car around Rs 4.5 to 5 lakhs range, I feel it would be a success in India! Nothing to beat its gorgeous look, silky comfort and rugged design of a true German car which is a success on European market!

REVIEW : The Opel Corsa 18 utility cub is the worst bike. I have ever come across. The bike has only 36 000km on the clock and already every part thinkable had to be replaced. The clutch went in peak afternoon traffic and I am getting really peaved off with this now. What will be next!!

REVIEW : I bought an Opel corsa 1.4 GSI last year and I am happy with the performance of the car especially the riding comfort at a speed of 100km/hr. I am getting an average milage of 12km/litre with a/c on. I am quite happy with the powerful A/c it got which acts fastly when required.

REVIEW : Its a dream car to drive, soft suspension, comfort, and ultimate luxury in a small package.

REVIEW : Hi ,
I had a mixed experience. I did find some positives in my sail 1.6.
--Quality of ride
--Good visibility on the road.
--Smooth / stable to high speeds(120+)
--decent mileage 12 with AC off/on at times
-- Feels secure inside cabin as sheets are real thick.
--Quality interiors in its class.
--good pick up.
--Gives you bog car feel (only feel :))
But there are some definite let downs:
-- The steering feels heavy in city drives
-- Mileage goes bad if you pump in accelator much and try to be zippy.
-- LOW Ground clearance I had hit number of BUMPERS and fear that the silencer may blow off at times.
-- Very close Accelator and CLutch .
-- Problem for tall guys .
-- Rear seat looks hushed up.
-- Drive feels heavy on full load and shockers just die I think.
All in all its good that GM is going to close this model as its fairly dated . Unfortunately its a realization hard to come by as I invested a good close to 5 lakhs.
Just got carried away by free bies and all.

REVIEW : Hi.dis z manuj from meerut.last month i bought my chevy aveo from shiva motors ghaziabad.aveo exterior looks r very impressive wd solid luk.though dis car might luk smaller frm outside den city but once u sit inside it ,it is as spacious as city.its interiors has no comparison in dis range.my opinion is dats it has better interiors den city.den comes suspension its fabulous ...though aveo doesnt like to be pushed hard..once u push it hard it becomes little bumpy..otherwise its ride is fabulous...at 120 i hardly realized it is at such higher speed.pick up is ok...not very fast..but its ok.....average is 12-13 km/i after 1000km. but service men say that it will move up after 5000 kms.car z very comfortable..very attractive....1 little complaint i have about dis car z its gear box which is little hard.

REVIEW : I bought this car a couple of weeks back. I got the base model, but it really has most of the features that other fully loaded cars might have. The first thing that strikes abt the car is its looks. The interior is really designed well & most of the controls are very easy to locate.
The acceleration is good but the braking is really awesome. The AC is very powerful. There is a lot of passenger comfort as well. after driving the aveo i find it difficult to appreciate other cars such as esteem and ikon. the driving pleasure is just behind mention.
I am also satisfied with the dealer "Garuda Autocraft" for prompt delivery and pick up.
It was able to hit a speed of 140 kmph effortlessly. True, good is no longer good enough...

REVIEW : Hi! American cars are known to be gas guzzlers. But they are also the best in terms of safety. Take the Aveo for instance...the replacement of the solidly-built Corsa range of cars. The Aveo is the only car in its segment to offer ABS and dual airbags.besides what many people dont know is that the aveo comes with best in class bumpers.so if it ur wife u are looking to buy a car for, this is the car for her.i have booked the 1.4 ltr variant for my wife.
As far as the fuel economy is concerned, GM has ensured that the car doesnt take a beating on this front.lets see what the car magazines have to say about that. If you are in delhi , T & T motors is the best showroom of GM to visit-no wonder coz they sell mercs too out of a facility somewhere in okla.
