Porsche 911 GT2 RS

The new Porsche GT2 RS is a powerful sports car which was launched at the Moscow Auto Show in August 2010. This car is an attempt by the revered automaker, Porsche, to achieve higher speed alongside cool sporty looks. The car would soon be cruising on Indian roads in some time.

The much talke about GT2 RS is powered by a 3.6 liter six-cylinder boxer engine which has variable turbine geometry (VTG), and is further boosted by 2 turbochargers. It can produce 620horsepower which helps it to easily accelerate from zero through 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, zero to 200 km/h in 9.8 sec and zero to 300 km/h in 28.9 sec. An excellent power to weight ratio of 4.9lb per horsepower gives it the ability to perform like it does.

But that's not all, because the all new 911 GT2 RS also offers a 5 percent better fuel economy than its earlier rendition. Just 11.9-litres of fuel is all that's needed to help you cruise about a 100 Kilometers. The car also weighs about 70 Kg less than its predecessor.

The stopping power of this car is as great as its acceleration, thanks to its PCCB composite ceramic brakes. Other features such as the car's , Porsche adaptive suspension management (PASM) technology and anti roll bars, in addition to the Porsche stability management (PSM) provide for a better maneuverability and cruise control.
