The starting price of this latest launch – Range Rover 2010 Model is Rs 98.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

Tata Motors had acquired Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) from Ford Motor, the American automaker for about $2.3 billion in June, 2008.

In the month of June in this year (2009), Land Rover has launched its 3 models in India - Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover. Range Rover, already know for its sturdy built and amazing looks has been acclaimed worldwide. Engine
The recent launch from Tata Motors that is Range Rover 2010 Model will be available in both engine options that are diesel as well as petrol. It does have two engine options, one is the 271 Ps LR-TDV8 Diesel Engine while the other is new 510 Ps supercharged LR-V8 Petrol Engine. According to auto experts, the LR-V8 engine is capable of more refinement and power output. The use of this engine would not lead to shooting up of emissions and fuel consumption and will moreover provide usable low end torque.
