REVIEW : This car is the most useful car as compared to others from the economic point of veiw. By using this technique one should make many cars and launch it in the big market of India. The cars speed should little bit increase because the diesel being expensive people will have to take the car apparantly.

REVIEW : Reva saves money for daily commuting to office in car. The investment; you will get back in 6- 8years. There are few problems I acknowledge what sanjeev has mentioned above however they don't really bother you much. Slightly overpriced but still a worthy buy. Check these items before you buy a reva,
Drive atleast 20 KMs a day. Average people going in the car won't exceed more than 4. You don't want to race on the roads, however this is not a slow pickup vehicle but can't zoom like your 2000cc car.

Not going to travel long(more than 70km) in own car. The money you save in reva can always be used for hiring a nice taxi, say once in a month. You are not buying car to display your luxury. I bought Reva in 2001 and completed 40K kms. Including battery cost, it has saved me 80K rupees compared to a petrol car.

REVIEW : I purchased the Reva in Feb 2003 and have dine about 22,000 kms so far. I use this for commuting from my home to office. It is really cheap to run a Reva. Driven 22k kms so far and averaging at 15 km per liter, i have saved about Rs. 75k. The Reva has a chassis derived from the design of formula 1 car, with main emphasis of making it tight. It is quite strong. Extra tyre being in the front also gives a safety benefit. The Reva Customer care used to do mobile checking and that too free of cost. This is an advantage to the customers.
Seeing the short incubation period of Reva, I don't blame the manufacturers for the ruff interiors of the car. At this stage it is very difficult to have spare parts manufactured at the cheaper price. The sliding windows is the biggest uncomfortable thing. Due to large size doors it sags in 6 months time. The suspension of the car is not good and it needs to be improved. There is no air vent in the car and due to this the window has to be opened when closing the car. The front glass should be parabolic to make it bit space in the front. The frame of the front seats should be more compact.

REVIEW : among all the cars available in the Indian market, Reva is certainly the most unique. The more important and prominent peculiarity for this vehicle is that Reva is driven by an electric motor. So only real emissions this vehicle makes is that of noise and nothing else. Reva is worthwhile to buy only if you are a city commuter and your city isn't colossal and you aren't using your car for anything apart from office to home and home to office.
