Rolls-Royce launched its Phantom Coupe in India in Feb.2009. Its
platform is based on the 2003 launched Rolls-Royce Phantom. Coupe's
image perfectly goes with its name. It was first previewed in the
capital on 28th Feb.2009 to a few fortunate selected audience.
Phantom Coupe is a two-door, four-seat saloon.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe is powered by the 6.75 liter gas V12
engine which produces an amazing 453 hp and 720Nm of torque. This
fabulous car effortlessly reaches 0-100 km/h in mere 5.8 seconds and
continues rapidly towards its peak speed of 250 km/h, till it is
governed by an electronic speed controller. This level of
acceleration is even more than what is expected of a car of this
class, which is really admirable.
The fuel tank capacity of Phantom Coupe has been increased to
almost 25 percent in comparison to Drophead Coupe. Other vital
modifications are also being made in this luxury saloon like
improved anti-lock braking and traction control system, lightweight
yet strong chassis made of aluminum, rear-hinged coach doors,
advanced gearbox, tuned steering and hand-crafted interiors, to name
