Santro 2011 is powered by 1086cc, 4-cylinder petrol engine which is capable of delivering a power of 64bhp@5500 rpm and deliver a torque of 111 Nm@4000rpm. The new Santro even has a McPherson strut suspension for front and H torsion beam at rear wheel. The car’s kerb weight is 854 kgs and the fuel tank capacity is 35 liters.
Many safety features are available in the new version including vertical and lateral crumple zones, side impact bars positioned in the doors and a crossbar placed under the dash board. Santro 2011 will be available in two variants which includes Santro 2011 GL and Hyundai Santro 2011 GLS.
