After a series of luxury car launched in last few years and starting of this year, Skoda India now enters the MUV (Multi Utility Vehicle) segment with Skoda Roomster. Skoda luxury cars have been always a success.

It is the first launch of Skoda after Volkswagen has undertaken it. The style and technology of this new Skoda is a blend of Skoda's two previous models, Octavia and Fabia. This new car brings a complete revolution to the segment of MUV cars in India. Skoda Roomster is a five door mid sized MUV equipped with all the possible luxury feature for a more comfort travel. It has more luggage space, enough power to transport anything and will surely be a unique driving experience. This new Skoda excels in terms of internal space and technological features. With Roomster Skoda Auto is all set to compete with to be launched big cars from Ford, Hyundai and Toyota.

Skoda India is planning to launch its new Roomster with both diesel and petrol version. Petrol version with engine capacity of 1.4 and 1.6 ltrs and diesel with 1.4 and 1.8 engine. Petrol engine will be equipped with seven speed transmission at maximum power of 1390cc at 5000 rpm and torque of 3800 rpm and 1896cc at 5600 rpm and torque of 3800rpm respectively whereas diesel engine will have five speed transmission at power of 1422cc and 1598cc with three cylinders. Both the version delivers good engine performance with excellent fuel consumption. It might come with six variants, 3 diesel and 3 petrol version.

Skoda Roomster is equipped with most advanced luxury features which will not induce travel sickness. In the sphere of safety the Roomster is a carefully tried-and-tested vehicle. You can even connect the audio system to your own ipod or mobile phones. It is designed with isofix child seat, central lock and child lock as well. The three rear seats can be removed and turn into luggage space like a van. It is electronic stability assistant systems enabled. ABS and Brake Assist (BA), Anti-Slip Regulation, three Point ELR seat belts, front seat belt with height adjustment and amazingly driver seat belt reminder. It is fixed with 6 airbags for a complete protection and parking sensor for easy reversing. Skoda India did really transformed the face of MUV cars.
