REVIEW : To hell with tata cars. i got a indigo 3 yrs back from fortune motors nerul. it is dealer maintained, extended warranty etc but i have spent more than a lakh rupees just to keep it running other than regular service costs. i drive a land cruiser in dubai ,used it on tarmac and sand for 125000 kms in two years and spend only one fourth of my money compared to this lousy indigo. stay away from tata cars and their dealers.tata cannot make good trucks too, thats why their showroom in dubai is not visited by a dog even

REVIEW : You ve said it- the car which symbolized India for so long - needs to metamorph into more modern, stylish & sexy avatar. Not only it shud move with the current times but also take on the future patterns. Any car lover can see the immense potential AMBY has to evolve into a desirable beautiful damsel. BELEIVE YOU ME- I VE DESIGNS FOR HER TO BE COMMERCIAL SUCCESS - I just need to know whom to contact. I would love to see the classic carry its lineage and yet evolve into modern appeal.

REVIEW : Hi,
I just bought a new Indigo LX TDi 15 days back after extensive online research and reading umpteen reviews on various cars in the segment. Finally my choice narrowed down to NHC Exi versus the Indigo and I am glad I let my head rule the heart and bought the latter.
I've just finished doing 1000 kms and belive me it gives a fantastic mileage of 17kms/litre ( a combination of city and highway driving)!! Couldn't ask for more...Ofcourse there are a few niggles here and there like slight noises from the rear while moving on bumpy roads, lack of refinement etc..
But overall its a good value for money car and I would definitely recommend it!

REVIEW : It has been a thoroughly bad experience right from day one..very poor quality and even the dealer is acknowledging that. Indian Quality: this car is one to put us to shame.
1. Fuel pump issue-engine getting switched off even at high speeds
2. Drop in pick up
3. Gear box issue.

REVIEW : I purchased TATA Indigo (LS) in the last week of June 2005, with a view to enjoy the driving experience of the legend Auto Maker and as well the loyality Towards my ex employer (The TATA Group). I purchased this vehicle from M/s Fortune Motors- Nerul.
Unfortunately I am experiencing the other part of the coin from the date of purchase itself.
I have been patient enough to bear all unexpected and unwanted problems and landup to a situation that I can never ever recommend TATA vehicle and the worst is I can not recommend the make of the organization for which I have worked.
Today I feel that I have taken a wrong decision in choosing the TATA vehicle and wonder how the other survive in day to day life by owing such vehicle? For example some of the problems which I faced with the vehicle are being mentioned below for your ready reference :
1. Sun control film comming out in 3 days.
2. Wheel spanner missing in the new vehicle
3. Central locking buzzer sounds on as you put right indicator.
4. AC vent not moving Towards the wind shield.
5. Wiper blade makes a rough sound. -
6. Sound from right door.
7. Left rear door gets stuck / Jammed.
8. Left rear window does not slide smoothly
9. High beam focus adjustment does not function
10. A/C fresh air knob not functioning properly -
11. Noise from the front right suspension.
Apart from the problems as mentioned above, sometimes some sound is stillcomming from the rear portion. I am still facing the problem(s) and now sick of getting them repaired, now I have developed a feel that the vehicle is as old as 5 years and have lost value for money.
In view of keeping my vehicle a "Good Car" I got the CAR checked as & when required as I face the problem as mentioned above and got rectified at the service center of Fortune Motors - Nerul - Navi Mumbai ONLY. It will also not be out of place to mention that frequent visits to the service center consume undesirable money, time and energy.
It is also painful to mention that very week there is a new beginning of problem, and I remain unanswered as to why a new car is getting so many different problem as I am not a new Driver and Owing and driving a car since last Eighteen years now and know as to how to deal with and none of the problems reported so far have been artificially created but have cropped up due to defects in the vehicle.
In view of the above I hope my woe shall be heard and some amicable solution shall be provided to me keeping in mind the Legacy of TATA MOTORS. The least I expect is a replacement of the vehicle or refund my money back by TATAs so as to reflect positive on the image, which actually has hampered by the performance of the car.
I once again sincerely request the concerned to relook into the issue & replace the vehicle at the earliest & avoid undue hardship to me both physically & mentally

REVIEW : Excellent ! Beyond Par Performance to its Class! A Very good car for people wanting to move across the car ladder from small to big. I have been driving my dads Maruti 800 for 10 Years and was skeptical about a Diesel Indigo! But My dad went ahead and got the Indigo LX TDi. Man this car rocks! We had to stick low to 90km/hr until 1000kms which of course we did in 40hrs from delivery a trip from chennai to Sravanbelgola! The Best Part was it was tuff in the beginning to use the gear lever but then as kms clocked on the Odometer it became smoother and more responsive! Yes but as the manual says you have to rev the diesel engine above 2000rpm to get the real feel of power! Somebody said he hates his indigo ! Sorry but i believe any piece of machinery can remain gr8 only if maintained in time and used appropriately! My Dad loves this Baby! Its a pleasure to drive and yes Sit back and relax too! I can't wait to get it out of my car park!

REVIEW : Excellent car!! I bought Indigo LX Bharat3 Deisel car in December 2005 while I was in India. Drove it for about a month and gave it to my Dad. I am extremely satisfied with the performance (very good with turbo and intercooler), feul efficiency (21kms per liter on highway!) and the service. After eading some reviews on this bulletin I was little worried about service, but in Chandigarh from Hind Motors and thier sales and service is very good! No complaints at all.
