I m a proud of Toyota Qualis owner have driven my Qualis around abt 3+lac km & still hitting the road without any trouble, the engine still sounds as it did the very first day. Still smooth & comfortable, I recommend and would HIGH request the TOYOTA company to re-launched this third generation car once again. The "putty-free" Standard Kijang KF42 short wheel-based and KF50 Series long wheel based Super, Originally introduced and offered in late 1986, Minor change was given in 1992 right side rear door and adopted a new name Toyota Original Body instead of Full Pressed Body. In 1994, the Kijang received the second minor change with new grille and 1.8 liter 7K-C engine. The Kijang was sold in India under the name of Qualis. The Qualis was based on the third generation model, but came with the newer fourth generation nose.
This is one of the world class historical third generation product (avatar) ever Toyota had build -:). Excellent road grip, smooth engine, Highly Low maintenance unless you keep it serviced on regular and periodic basis, comfort sitting and good leg space and luggage. Even after running long drive you don't feel lazy, tired anytime etc.. any minor/major bumpy road it appeared the same degree of hit and comfort, soft and instant turning during critical and high risk ghat (mountains) i.e. control, very sharp and durable brakes (in past 11 years I have changed the brakes only 3 times) and it stops faster than I anticipate. From the day first of the delivery of this car I'm still using seat belt and cannot drive with seat-belt at all.
I daily commute office by Qualis and despite of busy and hectic road and time it gives me all pleasure and never felt tired after reason home unless I think any office task to complete -:) It's gear shifting, steering, suspension, etc.. feel me great and royal to drive. I remember once due to office hectic schedules and meeting personal commitments I could not do on time servicing on my Qualis for 1 and half Yr and almost daily running was averagely 25 KMs, when gave it to servicing @ Toyota autho. .. servicing center, I was surprised to hear from the Toyota lead engineers that my car did not even put any minor complaints against me :) apart from regular servicing, timing belt, alignment was done. We r Proud to be Owner of Qualis, and it is best car for family, more comfortable, sturdy, good shaping (looks wise) love to self drive always (ego), we have been using since past 11+yrs, and still rocking, I'm becoming old now but my car still is YOUNG and running smoothly heeee!
:) It's awesome, royal car. If any small, minor complaints turns up I get a feel of it and came to know where the problem is and get it rectified ASAP.
I wish to share one of my "The most tradegic experience" to all reader, Few years back (i.e. 6-7yr) we were driving from Jalgaon to Parbhani from Pune and the whole night I was driving, my family and parents were tight sleeping accept me and my brother, I was @ the speed between 110 - 120, all windows were shut accept driver side window 20% open since it was winter. We were unaware that our tyre was puncture and still the car was running smoothly, my both hands was relaxed on steering and was not having a feel of pulling one-side, all of a sudden one car was chasing us to tell us to stop (almost 13 Kms) when he overtook me and requested to slow down. When we stopped he told me "Dude wat r u doing ??? look ur rear wheel and still u r driving smoothly ??? Sir almost I'm chasing you for 13 KMs when I saw your car was flat ... We all were so surprised, tensed, and wondering how this would happen?? The other car family stayed with us till we replaced to another and was together t! ill next station, We all saw that tyre and tube was not tear-off Just a 2 puncture, we checked the RIM - that too was fine nothing happened. I was inside crying and looking at our car and strongly without any fear we continued journey in the same and were talking rest of the night after 4:AM - How this had happened? GOD GIFT?, MIRACLE? We all became so PROUD of owning a right and EXCELLENT WORLD CLASS "TOYOTA QUALIS" -:) Now lets hope dat the Govt will not restrict the condition on demolishing old cars, else I will miss my dude darling car. After years still no rust at all, using it daily yet have not experienced any accident, damage of parts, accessories, seats, etc.. looks very good appearance-wise. It's milage is also very good and also
pickup too compared to other vehicles (i.e. Four wheeler). Second hand
vehicles are also selling at higher costs which is equivalent to
approximately new vehicle if available in the market. If the company has
again restarted to manufacture in the same mode, the market will be in high
pitch as per my view and also the economic view agrees to the same. The
company has suddenly stopped its manufacturing, the causes may retrieve on

and as well hope to re-open the manufacturing at an early date.

REVIEW : This car is the best car amongst the near by range (tata
sumo)/scorpio/travera). Has a very good pick up. mileage is good enough.
look is also good. If the company starts new production with same price also
people are ready to buy as the second hand market of qualis is very hot.one
thing i can add that company shold make the tyres little big and broad to
enhance the look like other.

REVIEW : i had surveyed many other brands and tried to prepare a
comparison of them considering key parameters. Finally, i setteled for
Toyota qualis as a value for money car in the long run. I must say after
driving it over a year or rather effortless driving it over a year or rather
effortless driving now that it is a brilliant product. I liked the looks and
spacious interiors of the car.
i took the automatic transmission 1.8L model for better pick up and to
avoid overtime in drving a manual car.With this car, you tend to get ahead
of the rest due to its fast pick up. Fuel economy also helps you improve the
value for money on this car.

REVIEW : I do have this car and i totally satisfied with this car
for its price. it is gentle and looks good. and now we have to look for the
fuel consumption too it works well i think 28 or 30 miles per gallon, thats
a good run. and this car is comfort and you have a lot of space for 5 big
people. you have space on the back to put your things.
this car is really good, and if you dont want to waste your too much money
on the car then you should buy this.

REVIEW : I am a qualis owner, the one which comes with the LED rear
lamps. i would say that the toyota qualis is a very good car. the car has
disc brakes at the rear, alloywheels, foglamps, the rider has no cd changers
and wood garnishing innthe centre console.

REVIEW : i am a prospective qualis buyer. I found the ride quality
ok in the back seats as well as the front seat. My observation was that the
irregulatries an the road did filter in to some degree but whether it was a
minor bump on the road or a hugely bumpy road ; the bump appeared all the
same, a minor transfer of the bump for all the cases but always comfortable.
that seemed to be good to me. to me brakes seemed to be sharp. in fact, a
couple of times, it stopped faster than I anticipated. What i like most was
the controls. it all seemed in the place with no problems to drive the car.
the bumper should have an inbuild rubber protector like many of the cars now
a days have. overall i liked the car with no seeming cause for complaint
except its price.
