Army Range

Mahindra Army Range comes with two different variants of rough and sturdy vehicles meant for the army and defence services.

Mahindra Rakshak

These vehicles have been purposely designed to carry troops from different locations and have been specifically designed to reach every kind of terrain. These are also the bulletproof vehicles to effectively fight the enemies.

Mahindra Rakshak

Mahindra Rakshak has been jointly designed and developed by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and Plasan Sasa, Israel. This is a bulletproof vehicle and has been a front runner in the battlefield to combat terrorism and anti-social activities. The vehicle is highly protected against the grenades and other improvised explosives due to its ballistic carpet covering.

Mahindra rakshak operates on a diesel XD3 P C engine with a capacity of 2498cc. The vehicle has a seating capacity of upto 8 persons and has a fuel tank capacity of 60 liters, fitted with electrical float unit.

Mahindra 550 XD

Mahindra MM 550 XD is a defence vehicle operating on a 4 cylindered in-line diesel XD3 P engine with a capacity of 2498cc and a compression ratio of 23 : 1. The vehicle has a thermostat controlled cooling system and a synchromesh gearbox with four forward and one reverse gear.

Mahindra MM 550 XD has a recirculating ball type steering with a turning circle radius of 6.34 m. The vehicle has a disc brake at front and a drum brake at the rear. The brakes are hydraulic with tandem master cylinder with vacuum assisted servo. This model has a fuel tank capacity of 45 liters.
