HMT Tractors

Established in 1953, the company has set a stone in the field of manufacturing machine tools which is the elemental part of industrial development. Firstly in Pinjore in the year 1971, HMT made its mark in the tractor industry and gave its first 25 HP tractor in collaboration with Motokov of earlier Czekoslovakia from its Pinjore plant in the state of Haryana. Certified by ISO 9001 quality standards, two assembly units of the company are located at Mohali (Punjab, India) and Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh, India).

HMT is manufacturing tractors ranging from 25 HP to 75 HP. It is a well established and highly acclaimed company with foundry, manufacturing, assembly and testing facilities for 20000 tractors and engines. Comprised with a large clientèle, export areas of HMT include areas like USA, Australia, Czech, Croatia, Mauritius, Nigeria, Ghana, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Senegal, Nepal etc.

Along with this, HMT stands on a very strong base with variable pillars as its strength and has an in-house R&D center and vast vendor base. It raised with a wide chain of network constituting dealers and adequate marketing set up for quality sale services. The company has achieved several accolades, awards and appreciations.

Major strength exist in HMT is modern engineering technologies which keeps on developing itself every moment. In the year 1994-95, it has been awarded with Haryana State Award for ancillary and small scale vendor development while in the year 2000, it has been given ISO-9001 certification from Kema, Holland. In the year 2005, HMT has joined its hands and collaborated with M/S Trantor Vehicles Ltd, UK. Following certain standards and policies, HMT has always made its priority client satisfaction by offering sound and qualitative services.

By this year end, HMT is going to launch high end tractors, priced at Rs 7.0 lakh, for the Indian market designed as a multi utility new offering, ranging between 65 to 110 HP. HMT tractors are equipped with most comfy features and can run at max. speed of 65 km per hour on road. It has always intended to maintain quality as a part of its work culture thus becoming the quality leaders.
