REVIEW : I don't know whether all the kinetic scooters have this problem with self start, but definitely nova 135 has..My nova 135 is 2005 model went on without much problems for 3 and half years,though the mileage came down drastically, before the self start stopped working. I had repaired it and what followed it was a series of problems- oil burning in the engine,no self start,kicker jammed and parts had to be replaced,stopping at slow speeds,battery problems,spark head problems,battery recharge head problems,and finally piston problems and engine works three four times and now crank is jammed...marvellous. I had to push it downstreets to some workshops in middle of rides at least 50 times as it get f...ked up while running .And also parts are not available and even kinetic service people are not willing to look at it to keep away from trouble...total misery. difficult to sell also as the word has spread about kinetics... Once it was a great machine easily touching 85-90 kmph with good acceleration,handling,comfort and style, but now its a piece of junk in my courtyard..

REVIEW : Yes my dears i m fully agree with yr complain . I had purchesed Kinetic Nova 115 in 2001-2002 from anand bcoz of Waiting time of Honda Activa at that time Activa take 6 months for Delivery so make bigger mistake in my life. In the Great expansive NOVA 115 self start r very poor Example of Automobile engineering they r provide "ONE WAY CLUTCH" for self start that is a very Expensive bcoz every 3-4 months it was a FAIL and that parts cost is 1800/= for original and 450/= for Duplicate. and most of part r not available in the market but u Go to MIRZAPUR,Ahmedabd. i m sure u get it in affordable price. but after start the engine NOVA is a SUPERB bike no one are overtake u even HERO HONDA SPlenor ya normal 100cc bikes. IN sort If u have EXTRA time and money for repairing then by only nova :)

REVIEW : What to say of the great kinetic nova.i got swayed away by the features and mileage but am regretting my descision till date.self starting is a pain in the neck.kick start requires main stand to be mounted.right from the begining it has given me problems.it has been two years and i have spent so much money to get the self starter working but in vain...i strongly recommend no one to go for it and urge kinetic to look into our grievances.

REVIEW : i had purched nova 135cc last year.from starting mileage and pickup was good but after 1 year it gave me shock milage is poor, horrible in self starting,don't try to purchase it.

REVIEW : 2 major problems with the 115 Kinetic Nova, first, it will always stall when started cold and ridden, have to wait till wrams up before riding, atleast 5 minutes, second, the rear clutch almost always chatters/grabs when starting from a stop. Breaks are a bit weak, milage is good if speeds under 50 kph, over 50, uses lots of gas. I change oil evry 1000 kms, engine runs very well, not a bad machine

REVIEW : To Kinetic Nova ,

I am Dr Shova Banstola, using Kinetic Nova since 4 years. And from the 1st servicing my scooter doesn't start with self starter and since that time i am using Kick to start my scooter. I changed the battery. But even after that it didnt work with the repeated recharging of the battery. I really had a very hard time and faced a lots of problems becoz of that. And local dealer in Pokhara, Nepal is very horrible and customcare is very very poor. I have been taking my scooter for regular servicing also. So please help and suggest me the concerned person what to do if the local dealers are not responing in a good way. Please help and mail me back with the suggestions.

REVIEW : I am owning a kinetic nova since 2003 and am just pleased with the performance , as i read the postings and grievances in this column. I got aware of inability of the service mechanics in all the dealer led centres so equipped myself with an experienced mechanic with whom i had to spend the time while servicing. I always keep good oil condition and battery health so have not faced major problems. After 40000 kms. I had to change the piston and cylinder and again there was no problem after.( It's too early for any vehicle costing 40 grands). Now i am facing a problem which not any here in coimbatore is able to repair. The self starter is not picking and the kicker gets jammed. The mechanic has changed the oneway clutch 2wice but still not been able to repair the problem. Can anyone suggest before i decide to give the vehicle a silent burial for it may not fetch even 5000 in todays market.

REVIEW : If you are looking to buy Kinetic Nova, I would sincerely recommend not to buy it...I have been facing lots of problems ever since I bought it and a couple of times I hurt my leg when tried its kick-start pedal...The service is pathetic as well. Better stay away from this useless kinetic products

REVIEW : I got Kinetic Nova in January 2005. The performance was excellent. I had an AMC with the dealer M/s. Laxmi AuToworks at Nerul.The first four services gave me good results except for a few negligible complaints like missing switches etc.(cost to be paid. I renewed my AMC and after the first service, I was shocked to observe the engine was overlapping. I went to the servic centre the very next day and found them throwing up their hands. There seems to be a major repair in the gear...I don't think Kinetic Honda is providing us with substandard products. In my personal opinion, the culprits could be the service station as only after the last service did the accileration not catching up with the engine. I am taking this up very seriously, if necessary, through consumers forum...

REVIEW : I bought a Kinetic Nova Deluxe during 2002 from a dealer at a very heavy price and it started giving trouble from the very next year and paid frequent service charges to the same dealer for 4 years . Now the vehicle is not starting inspite of many experienced mechanics visit and dealer says it is a troublesome model and i have lost heavily.

REVIEW : It was a good scooter but the ground clearence level is very poor.scooter touches the ground in every speedbreaker if fully loaded
