REVIEW : It has been 15 days since i bought my Avy 220, already completed 500 kms..
I mostly went for this coz of the looks and the power it hsa got!!! Initially i got some problems in start up bt i went to the showroom and they adjusted some settings and then it started giving the awesome performance it was built for!!!
Its smooth like a knife on cake and got power like u hammer the nail! BANG!!!!
Handling is superb!, can cut and can curve at your will with ease. The seat is much comfortable and literally the pillion rider can sleep..lolz.. :-)
The wheel base being broad, it gives excellent stability!!
Talking about mileage, it has been giving me 45-50 kms till now! keepin my fingers crosed that it continues to give so!!

AVENGER oil cooled. It's really tough to handle.let's see it's pros and con:
Pros
- Only bike in cruising categoryin India.
- super hit comfort
- BAJAJ as it's brand.
- durable engine
- latest tech available
Cons
- offers a mileage of near about 37kmpl(it's tested by me myself).
- too costly
- long waiting
- tail lamps aren't impressive.

bike.... after bajaj introduced the bajaj avenger 200cc oil cooled.. i
thought it would be more than eliminator 175cc.. i sold my previous
eliminator and purchased the avenger 200 cc oil cooled.. and dat was the
biggest mistake i had ever committed in my life.... the bajaj avenger sucks
in matter of performance and double sucks in matter of quality.... there is
problem with the gear system... problem with the starter system.... rear
shocks emitting noise... noise from clutch chamber.... all this problems
started 2 months after purchasing the bike.... i m sorry to say but the
avenger cannot be eliminator....eliminator rocks i matter of speed stunning

REVIEW : Good bike. Bought the 200cc oil cooled version in oct 2007.
Overall the bike is good but it has a very bad right rear view mirror. It
sucks. It cannot be adjusted to see whats coming at the back until it is
near ur back wheel. Further adjustments butts it against the barke fluid
canister. Seriously bajaj has to give a new design for this. and the
handlebar is factory adjusted. This is very dangerous during highway riding.

the regular maintenance schedule. I ride an average of 55-60 kms per day and
the bike has never let me down. Good pickup, good speed and a comfortable
ride. Cons for the bike would be, poor chrome quality (it develops rusty
spots), poor quality engine crank case paint. Service center (Sai
Service-Andheri) is not interested in looking in to the issue, even though
the bike is within warranty. I shall take care of that however the pleasure
of riding this bike tempts you to forget the cons associated.

REVIEW : I finally ( since I always wanted one ) purchased the Bajaj
Avenger last novemerber ( 2007 ). I have used it sparingly but maintained it
in showroom condition. However, this September I was TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED to
realise that the Chrome-work and Engine Paintwork is of VERY POOR QUALITY.
Rust spots develop easily on the chrome parts, except the rims. Whats worse
is that the entire engine crankcase silver paint has started to blister and
peel off ! For a guy who is particuler about his bike, any sort
of 'defect' is important. These problems are a clear indication of
POOR QUALITY AND MANUFACTURING STANDARDS of Bajaj Auto. Moreover, there has
been no response from the company with regard to my complaint. I took the
bike to a service centre, where the service engineer promised he would have
the matter "looked into" and took my telephone number with the
excuse that he will call back...but no call yet ! He had mentioned that they
will use some locally available spray paint aero! Sol can to paint the
crankcase. To all those intending to buy the Avenger, I would say THINK
AGAIN !!!!!

REVIEW : Hello guyz and galz. I am touseef from a small district
named WARANGAL which is there on the west of andhra pradesh. I am mad about
bikes, especially crusier bikes. And i always desired a crusier bike in my
dayz of life and i saw bajaj avenger in one of my friend's house and i just
became a die hard fan of that bike. The Town in which i live is very small
and it needs to be developed a lot. There are showrooms of all two wheelers
in my small Town but in bajaj showroom, only limited types of bikes are
available because there is no R.T.O. Permission for bajaj in our Town to
sell bajaj avenger,pulsar200 and pulsar220.I any way wanted avenger and i
bought it from delhi and avenger has won my heart. It is really a very
handsome bike which i always dreamed of.It is very powerful and boasts a
very good pick up of 0-60km/h in just 5.12 secs. And i always go out for long
trips on my bike and i really found avenger great, really very great for
touring on long straights and it is also a ver!
y good handler in ghats. The avenger returns me a good fuel efficiency
of 43-45 kmpl in city, very amazing for a 180cc bike and when i run the bike
fully, with the throttle open, the bike touched a speed of 115
kmph, awesome. And i also say that avenger is better in pick up,speed and
looks than the baby elephent royal enfield thunder bird. And when ever i
travel on avenger in my Town, all people turn their heads on my bike. There
are many people who even came and asked me that from where did i get the
bike and it's cost and they said that the bike is really very awesome. So,
for all u youngsters who r mad about crusier bikes,i tell them that there is
no other bike better than the avenger in india to win ur hearts. If u want a
crusier, avenger is the best. byee every one.

comforts and discomforts: 1) The position of ignition key is inconvenient,
(2) Gear shift is very hard, sometimes it sticks up and some times it goes
into neutral while shifting, (3) Rear view mirrors are bad and have limits
for adjustment, (4) front brakepads brushes with the disc even after
adjustment, (5)riding with pilion is difficult as it creates gravity problem
for the vehicles. Riding is comfortable and steady on the road, average is
OK.

really worked a lot for this bike i think but still they have to improve coz
i purchased my RED DEVIL on 9th June and by 12th June i notified that there
was no disk oil and i had been to the service centre but nobody responded
and after 2 weeks problem in gear shiftin. So again had been to service
centre but could not expect anythin from them. Later there was a prob waitin
for me huge sound comin from gearbox side wen i shift the gear to 1st after
parking the byk for more than 5 hrs. So again i had been to service centre
at the time of 1st service so again nobody responded. After 1 and 1/2 months
durin my 3rd service only 2 problems are rectified and the 3rd one is same
the sound comin from gearbox.....But stil this byk is the king of the
roads...Its power is good.If you r plannin to by a byk in 150cc to 200cc
class just go for this byk...

1) The Gear system has some problem , while coming to neutral , it jumps to
first gear.
2) Some Nuts and bolts got loose almost in a week , i had to tighten them.
3) Good average (47Kmpl in 50% heavy traffic & 50% Highway).
4) Comfortable for long rides
5) Handling is very painful in traffic and even more worse with two people
riding.
6) Good leg room in case you meet an accident, i"ve experianced it !!

REVIEW : Great bike. Some of the features I liked are powerful
headlamp, sitting, ground clearance and of course its look...! I travelled
720kms in a day continuously and believe me performance was very good in all
respect.

REVIEW : I have bought the avenger on the recommendation of india
bike and have no regrets. All in all it is a fantastic bike of my dreams(just
like my all time favourite REKHA).
