four days ago. This is my first bike. While riding in 1st and 2nd gear,
there is lot's of engine noise. While using the 3rd and 4th gear, ride is
very smooth.
I am not regretting that I have purchased this bike because I also have
Karizma, which I don't ride much because it consumes lot of petrol. But
atleast after purchasing Bajaj Discover I have two bikes and I can ride

REVIEW : One of the best in 125 CC segment in India. Great pickup
(almost comparable to Pulsar 150CC), High fuel efficiency (60 - 65 kmpl
after 2 years). My top speed was 115kmph (per speedo) & was at full
control on it. would advice anybody to buy this one if he considers 125 CC
segment. I think Bajaj could have done better with it if they had made the
tyre more wide for better road grip at sudden sharp breaks. Also the
suspension could have been better.

clocked around 8000KM. The main problem is its noise(both in engine and
chain). But if you ignore this harmless but disturbing noise this bike is
worthy for every rupee you spend. Honda shine is a good competitor but its
plastic parts are so filmsy not a safe bike to travel. But discover gives an
average of 55 KMPL. overall rating is 65/100

REVIEW : I Bought the Bajaj Discover 135 DTSI after a lot of
confusion with Gladiator and Shine... But the Discover stole my heart on the
first drive itself.. The ride and comfort is excellent.. great pickup and
power... Good for city as well as country drives.. Mileage also 58kmpl
(great) after first service , and 4 more services are yet to go... Road grip
and balance is Excellent.
Disadvantages:
1) Noise on gear shift 1-2-3,gear shift N-1-2 is hard, the ride & shift
is smooth on 3rd and 4th gears...
2)Engine/chain knocking noise...Engine noise reduced after 1st service
3)SKIDS DANGEROUSLY ESPECIALLY IF THE ROAD IS WET during rains.... (once I
was about to run into a car due to skidding.. I was only at a speed of 55
kmph, and it was raining)This is the worst disadvantage...OVERALL: A nice
medium bike with well balanced power, ride,Style and mileage, but its a bit
risky on high speeds & if u r less in body weight..(UNLIKE PULSAR)

having a great riding comfort and awesome power, but I never got a milage
above 45 kms. In somedays I got even 30 kms/ltr. Also there is a bad noise
from the chain. Engine sound also very worse nowadays. I was forced to
replace the clutch plate & timing chain, before the vehicle reaches
15000kms. Front wheel baring & Cone of the handle also i changed before
17000kms & changed the break liners twice. Now its time to change the
break liner again & cone of handle is becoming worse. Now my byke's

REVIEW : The bike is good. Some pieces have a problem with the
mileage. I had the same in initial period. However the mileage has improved
to an acceptable level (not great). Around 57-60 for 125 cc bike.
The gear box is horrible, the gears make a lot of noise and are very very
hard for a new bike.
I have discussed this with the vendor and they claim that it is a common
thing with the bike and will not cause a damage to the gears. I have ridden
other discovers recently. They are better (not great).
It seems that the problem is specific to my bike. I am planning to raise
this issue. I think Bajaj's Quality control is poor and one should be very
very careful while accepting the piece. If you get a good piece, the bike is
worth the buy. And yes, there is a skid problem, but bike does not go out of
control.
I have never felt unsafe even when the bike skid a bit.

REVIEW : I recently bought Bajaj Discover DTSi 125cc 5 months back.
I have done over 7800 kms. Pick-up is good. Mileage is pretty okay. I get
around 40-45 kmpl. Which is equivalent to Bajaj Pulsar 150cc. I get some
noice in 1st and 2nd gear. The vehicle moves smoothly in 3rd and 4th Gear.
The Bajaj Service center guys suggested that the mileage will improve after
1st service which has not happened yet. Most importantly the brakes are good
,which I frequently use while riding , because of the road condition with
hell lot of signals and traffic.
Please don't go to Bajaj Discover if mileage is important.

and have great look and pick up. I tried all bikes but some have average but
not good looks & some were opp. to it. So there were not all perfect in

it had everything which i was looking for. Great look, avg & superb pick

REVIEW : Discover is very nice bike in 125cc range but need slight
change in design. Must change headlight design as well as bit bigger petrol
tank & also sporty look. Add the rear tyre bigger like pulser. After
that discover sale will increase by 75%.

REVIEW : Well, initially Discover DTSi was giving me an average
between 45-50 kmpl. But after 1st service, average is continuously
increasing and right now at around 60kmpl in the city (till now total km is
around 850), but overall satisfied with 125cc and mileage esp pick up is
great.

REVIEW : I was serching for a perfect 125cc bike. 9 months back . i
got a red discover . and it was a mistake.a big one . as i took the bike it
gave me only 30+ average in the start. i told this to the dealer he told me
to wait till 1st service . even after this i got only 40+ till now after all
services and i tell u dont buy it ever .it is waste of money . and time u
could buy a good tvs apache or a pulsar 150 or a unicorn. never waste your
money in a 125cc bike buy a 150cc allways.

REVIEW : Not bad.. Firstly i get about 50 Kmpl.. The pick-up is
really good.. In fact discover has the highest pick-up among all the 125
CCs.. gear-box is very noisy.. I have heard thats the case with most Bajaj
bikes.. Rest of all its fine.. am pretty happy with most other thngs..

REVIEW : Marvelous Discover !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
The Bajaj Discover 125 Dtsi ES is a very good bike according to me in the
125cc sector the credit goes to Bajaj Autos ltd. My Discover gives a mileage
of minimum 60-65kms per liter no bike in 125 cc gives this superb mileage.

REVIEW : If u ask me this bike is useless!!!!!!I brought this bike
on feb ,2006. With in a week my bike had starting problem and the electric
start is also very poor...I am not at all satisfied this bike and the
performance is also not upto the mark. With in this 20days i went to the
company showroom for 1st service i am not satishfied with them. Now also it
gives me only about 40-45KM per litre in city limit...and its gear box also
got some mistake ...very often when i go for 4-gear the bike will produce a
lot of noise and makes me mad. Here in nepal customer service it"s
suck. So tell me what the hell can i do with this bike ?if anybody have idea
to buy DISCOVER your making a very big mistake...

REVIEW : Not good. It is hapless and hopeless. Parts r totally bad
and support of mechanics is almost required every 2-3 days. I have been
riding from past 6 months. Previously I had Yamaha Libero. I was quite happy
with that.

REVIEW : All about this bike is not more than a 'bakwaas' i totally
disagree with all of its specifications & mileage which comes 45 KMPL
hardly. All of you are requested please be careful from it & do not go
with its alloy wheel & style. as per my opinion it is really a third
class bike.
