REVIEW :Dreaming about a bike has been easier for me but purchasing a bike has become harder and inaffordable. Exploring the market with an intense information on bikes, I came up with an appealing legacy which is left by an owner of Royal enfield and the users who are carrying the legacy by centering their experiences, People who own this mind numbing beast had'nt defined the bike's profile perfectly, they outlined the history and the issues which refers either to feel glad by reading the reveiws or to think hard about the issues. Speaking broadly Royal enfield owners have felt the need to ride this animal without thinking any futher. Now they are shackled by perplexitiy which is making them to talk only about a few bunch of chumps who could eloberate much regarding their experience. This message is for that cipher who thinks people are wannabes when it is refectling who is the real dumb bum, lets not push this ass hole into dumps by picturing his insanity on blogs. This website is!
made with an intention to guide people who are looking for becoming a part of Royal enfield's legacy not for show casing how good you are in grammar or how you are keeping up with your domestic work. I hope the next reveiw would assist me in buying this enrapturing machine on installments because all the reviews which i have read are not helping me and I need a person who is well grounded when it comes to suggestions.

REVIEW :Hradyesh Namdeo is absolute right. the bike and engine are vintage model and can be used as a show piece only. Heavy body which is difficult to handle, leaking oils, and hand made and assembled vehicle is absolutely not suitable for a city ride. even army, police, para-military forces have abandoned this bike. a few years back this bike was selling for a song. especially the used bikes were sellign dirt cheap. the bike uses II world war technology. please do not waste your money.

REVIEW : I'm considering buying a '99 model Bullet Standard 350
4gear. I'll b riding a Bullet for the first time, however i faced some
issues which I'd like to seek your comments on: 1. The bike does not start
in 1-2kicks. Is that normal? 2. The engine stops on neutral gear without
accelerating. 3. After the engine stops after sometime of running, it gives
a weird smell of petrol burn..is that normal? Please suggest if any thing
else needs to be checked before buying the bike people. I'll highly
appreciate.

REVIEW : Hi, i have bought a standard 350 bullet one month ago,
previously i was owning a rx 100, but when i started riding my bull, i
really felt the change. Initially i had problems like starting, getting used
to heft hand break system ,etc. but after 15 days i didn't feel like riding
any other bike other than my 350 cc ht horse. The first time when i took my
family for a ride, i was one of the proud owners on the road. Coming to the
mechanic , its difficult to get a nice mechanic for the bull, but my luck is
good that i got one. I need to definitely tell about him , he is Mr Ali from
Pudupet, Chennai. He is not a commercial mechanic , but he knows the pulse
of the bike.

REVIEW : This is for everyone who wants to own a bullet and who
already has one. First lets start with the wannabe bullet owners. Royal
Enfield is a very old company, originated in ENGLAND in Redditch, then the
company shifted in india.Bullet 350 std is a bike which was an original
british motorcycle, which india has been manufacturing the same way since it
was originally made. Now back in those days the quality of the british made
enfield were said to be good, they were reliable, according to those days. Now
the indian made bullet are not exactly of the same quality as their british
counterparts,as india being a third world country dont expect too much out
of it,its like judging skimmed milk with diary milk,if you know what i
mean.Buying a bullet in india is all about having an inner pride, its showing
how manly you are or that what most of us belive. The indian royal enfield
company has been making different models from time to time, where most of the
look remains the same, now the original bullet std which is still in
production has 4 gears and on the right side, now some new variants have the
same cast iron engine along with new ones with 5 gears on the left side, now
how can you put 5 gears on the cast iron engine which was suppose to have 4
gears and that is also on the left side, originality destroyed by our so
called indian engineers. Most of the motorcycle comapny in india seems to
have a histroy of tie up with japenese company or others but there never has
been a stand alone indian made motorcycle. So,in short dont go for the new
age bullet which the company have recently launched, instead stick with the
original one the Bullet 350 std.
Now lets go to those who already own one, some people bring it to make their
neighbours jealous and some bring it to give it a good massage therapy, with
all kinds of polish and wax.People like to stand out from the rest of the
crowd no matter what.we all like it no matter how weired we may
seem.Modifying your bullet with extra light,or just ripping off that
original comapny fitted silincer with an after market one for louder thump
does not make any sense, what one usually ends up upon is a dead battery and
a engine which has a higher RPM than usual along with oil leaks and not to
mention the higher vibration of the bike. Its good to be in speed, you feel
the air hitting your face its almost feels like you are flying, but then
again dont you think what you are riding it is not some japanese rice
grinder nor an american harley, its a bike which was made before you were
even born,so try to keep the speed in 60 to 70kmp.I am a bullet owner myself
and a huge fan of this classic motorcycle, ever since i was a kid it used to
make my head turn on the roads. My first bike is a bullet, and i got it when i
was 18,thats when you get your license actually. So,to everyone who has a
bullet enjoy your bike, love it like as if it is a part of your family and
always remember its roots...Keep Tumping...CHEERS!!!

REVIEW : Mr, Hradyesh Namdeo, You seem to be a kind of person who
has no job other than complaining about anything and everything. i will not
be surprised if you have problems with kids, with elderly people, traffic
etc etc....and about everything else on the world.......add to that your
english....its pathetic, there are errors in every line of your written
statement.........Out of the 12 people who have written in this page you are
the only one who is complaining. I own a 1984 Bullet 350 myself and i am
very happy with it. Yes when i used it for the first time i did have
difficulties. It was too heavy, too big, and since i used to ride a Hero
honda Splendor earlier i definitely was uncomfortable riding the bullet.
Riding a bullet is an art. You should not just look to drive at 60kmph the
moment it starts. It needs care, its like your child. Learn to use it, and
you will know that its one of the greatest bikes every made on earth.
When I used the bullet for the first month, and remember it was a second
hand bike, i started the understand way it should be ridden. As far as your
mechanical problems, take the bike to a bullet mechanic, who repairs only
bullets and no other bike. I hope this will solve your problems.

REVIEW : Like other Bullet lovers even I used to do admire it
whenever I got an opportunity. It could be a parking lot or a traffic signal
guide, I just used to love watching it and listening to the royal exhaust
beat. Though I had initially set my eyes on the RE Electra 5S, after a lot
of research on these mean machines, test rides of current models and the
feedback I received from the fellow Bulleteers I finally decided to purchase
a Thunderbird.
The major factors which influenced my decision to buy a Thunderbird was the
latest technology like the Aluminium engine, CV carburettor,TCI ignition
system and the great looks ofcourse. The Thunderbird is a great bike and
gives a great feeling when you ride it. You can feel the raw power of the
bike at the slight turn of the accelerator and also the majestic roar.
Though it is priced on the higher side (a li'l over a Lakh of rupees) it
certainly is a grand automobile to own. Coming to the experience of owning
this machine I can only say after a few months down the line as I just
bought it two days ago...

REVIEW : Mine is a 1970 classic. Its is a wonderful machine. Where
ever it goes it sure would attract a thousand stares. I knew that i would
have to see some problems while handling it and to my surprise the troubles
were really less. I"ve been using it since almost 8 months and i've got
it serviced just once(8 months back).
And every bullet even if serviced well would give trouble at some point of
time.getting to know the vehicle is a must so that you can fix these small
repairs all by yourself.
i"ve never been to a showroom to get my bullet serviced as there are
good bullet mechanics in hyderabad who are far better than their
official/authorised counterparts.
If you are a person who is looking for a bike as just a transport vehicle
from your office to home, then this one is strictly not for you.
About the service: Everyone knows that its a old company and the service
isnt good compared to other manufacturers,so be prepared before you buy one.
Whatever be the small drawbacks and troubles, when finally running the sound
and beat of the engine is terrific.

initially as I tended to treat it like a normal 100cc bike. The throttle,
braking, etc. take a little getting used to. However, the ride, the comfort
is truly unbelievable. My only regret is that I didn"t buy it any

It cost me around 2000 rupees to get it into top condition. Like I said, I
only regret that I took so long to buy such a beautiful machine.

REVIEW : "Remember Whenever you see a BULLET passing by admire
the owner for his patience, you might not know through which phase of
torture he may be going through after he made a mistake of purchasing a
bullet"
The old company Royal Enfield Motors, which was supposed to be a old
company with sound experienced but in actual it is not so.
The Indian saying, "Naam bade aur dharshan chote" fits very well
here.
I am fond of bikes, power, strength etc. Bikes are my passion. I heard from
my childhood that the Enfield Bullet is the king of the Indian roads &
it is termed as "A Bike which separates a man from a child."
Taking the picture of a good old, experienced company into my mind I
decided to purchase a bullet & went into the showroom but I was
surprised by the poor finishing quality of the bikes
gazing at the customer. From here the phases of troubles starts, first
choose a bike from the available 2-3 bikes which have a less number of
faults in the finishing of the bike as compared to the others. Seems we are
in a vegetable shop searching for the good one's among the others, Cool
isn't it?
After giving hard-earned money amounting nearly about 60000/- bugs you
think you are purchasing a bike not really you are purchasing troubles along
with a free gift hamper of tortures. Lovely deal for bike lovers!
While coming home from the showroom I found that the bike is completely
instrumental the shockup's are making terrible noise, the fuel tank starts
singing when I parked it in my home there was a lot more to discover. I went
through the user-manual it have complete details about the bike but the good
thing was it was just a bit out dated .Hey old company means old details
too! The other phase starts from the day you drive the bike you must be
having a daily routine, the thing you have to do is just add in it a daily
visit to the workshop except the day when you don't drive the bike.
Other thing is you should be a nature lover because the bike will made you
stop frequently after few kilometers & mind you be prepared for any
thing it may stop any where whether it is a middle of a busy road or a
lonely road in the jungle. Amazing!
Like in my 9 days of driving it made me stop 31 times in the middle of the
road. From the very first week I was complaining to the company about there
product quality, but there was no-response from the company.
After my 9 days of riding tortures I decided to switch over to my real
buddy, good old bike which never let me on road once. This is what I call
reliability which a trust bonding relationship between the rider & the
bike isn't it? The bike was locked in my garage & one-day an officer
from Indore branch called me & offered a complete check by the
co-service engineer but I told him the exact situation & requested him
to take the bike back. Finally he asked for a last chance for the company
failing to which the bike will be taken back.
The much awaited co-service engineer Mr. B. Ramachandran was a
multi-personality guy he gave me his card mentioning him as marketing
representative, introduced himself as a service-engineer, & finally
termed himself as the head of the Indore branch. Impressing!
I gave him complete logbook of the 9 days with the bike & its faults &
behavior. He gave me conclusion like:
"The Person purchase a bullet never looks for perfection & you are
the first one asking for it"
"The bike does not have any problem, you are facing it because you
have purchased a bullet first time" The service engineer supposed to
know each & every veins of their product but the guy was unable to even
start the bike even when he was challenged to do so!
When he done his acting for checking the bike I asked him to certify that
the Bike is now completely faultless & if any fault noticed then the
bike will be taken back as discussed.
But he refused to do so, instead I was made sit for three hours in the
showroom where the people including the company guy with dealer & other
person shared my troubles as if somebody
shares a joke. I had also decided not to take the bike unless a written
certificate is not issued so I left the bike there & returned back.
Customer care ?
After somedays I received a letter from the same guy asking me to take the
bike with in 7 days.
The head of the company Mr. P.K Purang (MD REM) Is also know of the
complete fact but he has only two answers for the same
I will talk to the concerned officers & come back to you.
I am out of office & contact you when I am back.
The other senior officer Mr. G Shankar(GM Marketing) does not want to touch
this issue so he simply doesn't respond.
The senior manager of the company Mr. Harikumar doesn't understand the
problem even if he has the complete details with him.
The other officer the manager service Mr. G.S mahindru is a little bit
confused but he is a genius also. He gave a final conclusion stating that
the owner is responsible for every thing without knowing the problems.
When I asked him about what he knows about my problems he said I not know
much about it.
From March till today the company is unable to solve a customer problem, it
is unable to satisfy a customer, it is unable to give a quality product to
the customer and the senior officers of the company doesn't have any answers
for my questions.
It is going to be near about 6 months in which 98% of time the bike was in
my garage and after knowing the complete facts the company pretends to be
unknown. The things are not with me alone there are lot of persons who have
one or the other problem from the company which includes from an illiterate
farmer & a executive too.
Don't believe me just look a classified automobile section of 2-3 weeks you
will find number of brand new "ROYAL ENFILEDS" bike for sale or
visit a automobile portal on the net you will find a lot of them there for
sale. What does it proves?
I believe that no body will like to sell a good machine which is new too,
Do you? The thing required today is to fight for the value of money &
customer satisfaction, which is a right of each & every customer who
pays for it to the company.
Lot of people leave the company as granted but is this a right thing? I
feel that to donate money to the needy is a better choice instead of giving
it to a company for problems & tortures & to felt like cheated.
Come out and ask for the complete satisfaction you deserve against the
money you have paid for.
