The wait is over for Honda motorcycles' lovers. The much awaited Honda's commuter bike – Honda CB Twister has been launched. The latest bike from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, the two wheeler manufacturer will enter Indian two wheelers' market from the February, 2010.

According to the sources, Honda CB Twister will be displayed at the Auto Expo, Delhi to be held in January, 2010. Though the exact price has not been disclosed, this 100cc bike in India is expected to be priced between Rs 42,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Variants

This 110cc bike from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is expected to give superb road performance and it will be available in three variants. The two variants of CB Twister are:
  • Standard (CB Twister kick start and drum brake)
  • Deluxe (CB Twister Electric start and disc brake)

Engine

The latest launched motorcycle Honda CB Twister's has a 110cc engine. The bike's engine is expected to develop 9 Nm of maximum torque at 6000 rpm and will produce 9 bhp of maximum power at 8000 rpm. With 110cc engine, the latest launched bike in India Honda CB Twister expects to deliver a mileage of 70 km/litr.

Introducing The Element of Styling

The first look at Honda CB Twister gives the feel that is is inspired from CB1000RR. The rear of suspension is coil spring whereas, the front of it is telescopic fork. Honda Motorcycles has kept the instrumentation analogue that is similar to other Honda products like other Honda products, instrumentation is analogue.

Honda CB Twister motorcycle also comes without tachometer and with tubeless tires.

CB Twister will be available in 5 colours -
  • Pearl Night Star Black
  • Pearl Fuji Blue
  • Pearl Amber Yellow
  • Candy Sonic Green
  • Pearl Siena Red

According to the automaker Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, their latest launch Honda CB Twister has no plans to compete with motorcycles like Hero Honda Passion and Hero Honda Splendour that are in the same segment of the market. The new CB Twister from HMSI is expected to sell around 220,000 units a year.
