The Lightning 500 is the modified version of the Enfield Bullet 500cc. The Lightning 500 is also known by the name of the City Bike. People wanted to have a Harley Davidson look-a-like bike, hence the company came out with the following modifications: High lift handle bars for easy riding, bucket, seat for maximum rider comfort, and tear-drop-shaped fuel tank for sleek appearance. Liberal usage of chrome on almost all the visible panels of the bike adds to the classic look. It is offered in four stunning colours. The whole concept is to take the tried and trusted engine of the Bullet and play around with the frame and mudguards, tank, etc with the intention of making it a replica of the famed American Harley Davidson. In spite of the high price, the company has not managed to overcome the problem associated with Bullets, like parts falling off, clutch cable breakages and carb flooding.
