It is the oldest bike from the TVS-Suzuki stable, and strikes a fair balance between economy and rideability. In addition, it is more fuel-efficient when compared with its other stablemates, the Shogun and the Shaolin. It is the cheapest bike available from TVS-Suzuki. Not exceptionally good looking compared to its younger brothers, it still sells in moderate numbers and is often seen in the rural areas. It is one of the most sought after bikes, next to the Rajdoot, Enfield and the Hero Honda. It has managed to retain a decent resale value as well.
