REVIEW : Im Using gladi from last two years.I was fall in love with gladi on the first site.at that time i was decided that gladi only be my bike. then i searched for gladi spec in net and visit show rooms many times to know abt gladi. When i ask about mechanics about gladi they say it was good in looking and performance but not in mileage. But i came to know that was not right.
My gladi gives around 60 kmpl and good in pickup and performance. I advice peoples who looking for bike with good performance and decent mileage go for gladi.

REVIEW : I am using Gladiator from last one year. I have only two
words to say about it "SIMPLY SUPERB". I am using it in high range
areas and u don't believe I can ride hike even in top gear, if its single
driving. In fact the moment when I decided to take a bike I had two
selections infront of me; Hero Honda Glamor and Gladiator. Now I am realy
proud that I have chosen this bike. My personal advice to all who are
intended to go for a 125 CC Bike you need not think about any other option.
This bike will be really worth for you.

REVIEW : After lot of research, found Gladiator is best in 125cc
both in economy and price. But got entirely disappointed by the service
provided by the yamaha Dealers in Chennai especially Raj Yamaha in Adayar .
After booking a bike and making full payment the dealer made me wait for
more than two weeks and still didn't provide bike. While calling the office
the response from dealers is also not good. Moreover Yamaha doesn't have a
customer complaint cell or number.

REVIEW : Hello All,
I went for a test drive of new Yamaha Gladiator. The vehicle seems to be
light (and suitable for average muscular guys). Its very comfortable
especially during turns and cornering. Its a sporty cum family bike. I
enjoyed the test drive. The distance i could cover was hardly 500 mts in
Bangalore city. Hence i am not sure about the top speed. I could reach
50KMph without any strain. The back heel gear lever is optional. Rear brake
is very poor. But the front disc brake is awesome. Pick up is ok. I have
seen Gladiators fuel tank leaking. Can SOMEONE THROW LIGHT ON THIS PLEASE?
Overall I LIKED THE BIKE.

REVIEW : I was planning to buy a bike for last 2 months. For this I
went to the showrooms of almost all the companies, saw many bikes. My
preference was good looking bike but should be able to use for family
purpose also not too costly, descent average & muscular body as I am a
healthy person of 6ft height. Obviously 150cc segment was not for me.So I
started with 100cc bikes 1st.For that I had many options.
- BajajPlatina(I ignored because of no muscular body),Discover
100cc(Many features but small tank of just 8 ltrs, looks very small &
again it doesnt look like original Discover of 125cc,but still I short
listed it for my last consideration),I never liked Bajaj Exceed.
- Hero HondaPassion + & passion Pro.Passion pro has one additional
feature & that is self start option.Otherwise technically both bikes
are same.I short listed Passion Pro.Splendor NXG- I didnt even look at
that bike,Splendor + is for avg health persons. So I didnt think of these
2 bikes at all.
- Suzuki-I went to a Suzuki showroom,looked bikes & came out
without talking even a single word to any of their executives there. So
no need to comment here also.Readers can understand everything.
- TVSStar sport though has good average looks very small so
ignored.Star cityGood look,long seat (good for family),price only 45 k
(2 months back, now 45.5 k),Company claims 102 km/ltr average,on road
one can easily get at least 60+(as per users review),16 ltr tank(Pulsar
has 18 ltr tank). So I short listed this bike also.
- HondaHonda has not launched 100cc bikes yet.I saw shine &
stunner.Shine though of 125cc looks ordinary.No sporty look,no special
features like trip meter, digital speedometer, length of seat is also not
very long.Star city & passion pro seats are better than that of
shine & pricing around 55k for (disc brakes).Stunner is really
attractive for young minds.I liked that bike. But not useful for
family. So Honda didnt find any place in my listing.
Finally I chose 3 bikes for my consideration.
I didnt like Discover look though it has lot of good looking feature like
LED tail lamp, nitrox suspension etc. But it looks very small because of just
8 ltr tank, its head lamp cowl, though they claim it as stylish,is also not
looking good, only 94.5 cc engine & most importantly there is no chassis
cover,bajaj saved money there(HH passion pro takes a lead here).So for a
person of good health & height it doesnt suit.So I removed this bike
from my list.Bajaj people should realise after success of Pulsar at least
that people want muscular bikes. They say about Pulsar Definitely male. Does
it mean that their other bikes are definitely females? And when u find that
people prefer only male bikes, why are u offering them other bikes? See all
their other bikes & one will realise my view.
Then comes passion pro.Looks really great.U will find this bike everywhere
on road,in parkings & everywhere.Great seller bike. But if one thinks
carefully & without any preconceived notion he will realise that its
onroad price is 50k & this bike is only 97.5 cc,giving average of about
60 or 60+,no other features, no trip meter,no LED tail lamps,no pilot lamp &
forget about digital speedometer.HH is selling same 15 yrs old product just
by changing name;passion,passion + & now Passion Pro.If u add some 4-5 k
extra u can get 125cc bike.So I rejected Passion Pro also.
Then remained Star city.I was about to buy it on Dasahera. But it is said
that,Man proposes & god disposes.TVS was making some changes in that
bike.So it was not available in the market for last 1 & 1/2 month.I went
to showroom thrice before Dasehara. Finally I postponed my plan then to
Diwali. Meanwhile I had gone to SBI bank & as I entered the premises I
saw Gladiator, black + purple.I could not stop myself looking the bike. After
parking my bike also I stopped there for a while. After coming out of bank
also I spent some time looking the bike.Came home & searched the bike on
Yamaha site, found its price is just 52k as mentioned by some users, read
comments about it on mouth shut.com.I found that 99% users have given +ve
remark about this bike.Thank u all!

I was ready to pay additional 10k for gladiator. But my luck was great. On
Sunday, two days after my visit to Yamaha showroom,I received a call from
second showroom again. And they said that we have gladiator graffiti &
its price is only 49k.Immediately I called my friend & went to the
showroom which is at least 35km away from my home & booked the bike.
I feel very happy & proud of my love at first sight. The bike has great
control. We had Discover & Pulsar also with us.If u keep 3 bikes in line
u will find Gladiator more attractive than these two because of its height &
length, its fuel tank & attractive tail lamp & indicators. It has
great riding comfort.U will not feel weight of the bike on ur hand.Yamaha
has provided Soft seat for this bike.Avg is not less than 55.
It would be too early to make any comment about performance of my bike, so
Ill keep updating u. So to conclude I would say if u are not looking for
150cc bike & u want great mileage with ur budget is around 45k then in
100cc segment u can choose Discover 100cc for good features & avg.or
Star city for nice looking muscular body, lengthy seat,110cc engine and good
avg.Never go for passion pro just because u will find plenty of bikes on
road.Use common sense.U will not get any additional features & u will
have to pay 4.5k extra.Dont follow others.
If ur budget is around 55k or u want 125cc bike then go for Yamaha
Gladiator.Nice looking bike, muscular body, descent average (in 125cc segment
Dont compare it with 100cc bikes),great riding comfort & price is at
least 10k less than 150cc bikes.Yamaha engines are always reliable. It has
sporty look and u can use it for ur family purposes also. Ur mom & ur
girl friend both will be happy sitting behind u.
This is my honest opinion after some careful study.Every person has own way
of thinking & likings.I have not written this for criticizing anybody or
any company or any bike.I got help from reviews of others. So to help others
in their decision making I have written everything in detail. But of course
one should use his observation & judgment before taking any decision.45
55k is not a small amount. Best of luck!

REVIEW : Hello friends! As per my almost a 8 months and 15000kms of
biking experience with gladiator i would like to tell few advantages &
disadvantages of the bike:
Advantages:
1. 150 bike feel and look with good graphics compared to others 125.
3. Superb gear box among any other indian bike (speciality of yamaha). i
never tapped the lever twice to change the gear
2. The comfort level of bike is too good.
3. good rear suspensions as compared to other 125 cc bikes they give a soft
ride enough.
4. best handling among 125 cc bikes that makes it easy to go around edges.
5. mileage varies from 55-64 kmpl depends on the citi roads and riding
style.
6. Unmatched ride stability at any speed. The stability at top speed of
bike is as same as at 40kmph and hence trust worthy.
7. Can top upto 105.
8. Customer support depends on area/city/sate sales. Thankfully good in
pune(maharashtra). I get it serviced within maximum time of 6 hours with
prior appointment.
9. Value for money.
10.Good black coat on each and every part of metal body(even the bolts and
screws) prevents from rust/corrosion
Disadvantages:
1.Has good power of almost 11 bhp but has low rev response and this makes
bike bit lazy in the 1st and 2nd gears but not so bad and acceptable
2.Rear tyre is too narrow for rainy rides. This might be accident prone
especially on cement roads.
3.Battery provided by manufacturer was not worth for first lot in my city.
Later they rectified but no replacements for sold out.
4. Built quality of bike lies between better honda and crap bajaj.
5. Absence of Chain cover needs frequent attention Towards greasing
6. Low wieght at the rear for single person ride makes the bike sometime
unstable off roads(will not be problem if rear tire replaced).
7. Speeding of bike beyond 60kmph can drop mileage upto 40kmpl.
8. to wheelie a bike needs more throttle.
9. If unlucky and got valve problem by chance (due to prolonged filling of
impure fuel/ accident impact on engine) will raise starting problems and
mileage rewiew.
Finally. I would prefer buying gladiator again compared to other 125
manufacturers coz every bike has advantages & disadvantages this bike
has more advantages and less disadvantages compared to others.
To get the best results of your Gladiator do not speed beyond 60 kmph.
change the gears at an RMP of around 3.6 x 1000 to 4 x 1000. Get you bike
seviced after 3000-3500 kms. Atleast have a 1 litre of fuel any time you
ride. Keep the idling of vehicle between 1 x 1000 to 1.3 x 1000 RMP in any
season.
This is an honest rewiew from me and hope useful!

i am using yamaha gladitor n i owned it just b4 23 days back i travelled
1189 km without no problem...
excellent bike in 125-150 segment
also it can run with pulsar 150
Advantages of gladiator....
- long ride comfort bike .
- good in mileage 64kpl
- can beat honda shine,bajaj 135 xcd,hh glamour.
- new looks that feels like huge bike ...
Disadvantage of bike
- minor problem in kick start ,but excellent in elect.starter.
- size of rear tire should be bigger..
so i suggest frnds to go for this bike.as bike with great advantage &
smooth for pocket ...means good price 54,550 on road but surely great than
shine &xcd135 as it beat them all power.

REVIEW : It is true that this is a good bike in 125cc segment and
can only be compared with Honda shine. However pre and post sales customer
support is pathetic. Here are few problems I faced when I bought it at
Bangalore.
- Not all colors mentioned on website/catalog are available.
- Dealer was not customer friendly. Very unprofessional.
- Bike was not delivered on promised date.
- Bike was damaged at the time of delivery. It had few scratches at the
time of delivery and was not washed/cleaned and had dirty spots.
- Clutch setting were not right.
- There was low pressure in tyres.
During service you will face other problems like unavailability of parts
etc.
My riding experience with this bike is good but given pathetic customer
support I would not recommend anyone to go for Yamaha bikes. I have to do
followup with dealer for three months to get damaged parts replaced.
Previously I owned a Bajaj bike at Pune. I was very much satisfied with
their customer support. Given that there is no comparable bike in 125cc
segment from Bajaj going for Honda Shine might be a better option (please
check that their customer support is better. I have no experience with
customer support provided by Honda in Bangalore).
Summary: With bad customer support you will not be satisfied with product
and will loose peace of mind.

REVIEW : Sure this is a great 125 cc bike. I actually sat on the
unicorn, cbz, fiero, and finally selected this one. I have a great mechanic
called nishant of Alka motors. Recently I changed my spark plug to a NKG
iridium and the result is awesome. The entire feel is so smooth, try it guys
its great. But,one piece of dissappointment - where is a 160cc or a 250cc
please we want this.........

REVIEW : Poor service from service center, milage decreasing day by
day, no pick up due to frequent HT coil problem and service center knowingly
avoiding that.style very good,.balance very good, breaking good,
shockabsorber normal.

REVIEW : I would like to have a bike which give more milage on the
hyderabad road traffic. Apart from this its front lighting should be so good
that the break distance should be covered at night. Stopping distance should
be viewed correctly under the focus of opposite 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers,
the breaking system also should be good and the most important is that the
gear box the heart of bike should be so good as we repeatadly change the
gears in the heavy traffic, also the vehicle should be a little light
weight. So please suggest me a two wheeler which i can buy for dis dushera
waiting for ur response.

REVIEW : I m true yamaha fan, i own a yamaha YBX, the handling is
superb, in terms of performance its excellent, i had made quite a few
changes for my bike by changing the graphics, introducing alloy wheel n
inducting broad tyres, the seating position of the bike is also cool, the
backdrop for my bike was the power, lack of fifth gear n disc brake. When i
heard that gladiator was launched i was excited n was planning to buy it,
but atlast i came to know that the bike deliver the same power as that of my
bike. Whichever bike was launched from yamaha in indian market eg:-
ybx, libero, fraser n gladiator all has a same engine. I feel sad for yamaha
that they are losing their ground in the indian market. The only comeback
they could make in the market is that they should launch 150cc segment
motorcycle with good features so that they could attract customer to buy
their products n acquire the shares in the market n then go for launching
other bikes in the segment of 200-250c.c. bajaj is doing well with his
pulsar series, hero honda with its cbz extreme, tvs with its apache, honda
with its unicorn. Come on yamha get into the 150cc segment bikes market. Ur
yamaha fan is waiting to buy it........ lets go for it chak de
YAMAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

REVIEW : Yamaha Gladiator features one of the finest engines which
is also found on most of the international 125 cc Yamaha Motorcycles like
the TTE 125, YBR 125 etc which are sold in the USA, UK, Australia, New
Zealand etc.If you are buying or planning to buy a 125 cc Motorcycle, then
the Yamaha Gladiator is the best you can get for your money. One best thing
about the Yamaha motorcycles is that they are very durable and even after
the reboring of engine with original spares, it again becomes new (as if it
is reborn) with all the properties restored and regained.

REVIEW : When I decided to purchase a bike first thing considered
was that it should require low maintenance, give good mileage, has great
control. Then i took a test ride of many other bikes in between 125 to 150
cc bikes. Some fitted to my requirement but when i took a test ride of
yamaha gladiator- its height impressed me, with good muscular body it gives
me feel of driving 150 cc bike as compared to pulsar or cbz. Great bike from
that point. After 06 months using it still i feel to use it for long drive.
I drive it 03 to 04 times for long drive to my native place (around 250 to
300 kms) during the uphills road. Its engine performance and control in the
ghat make me happy to drive it again and again. Just want to thank Yamaha
Co. to give us the extremely good machine. I love it very much.

REVIEW : Very stylish, but not the good-old-yamaha music to the
ears...this one seems to be a tough competition to other models in the 125cc
category. Pick up is good, as is with almost all Yamaha models... but
on-the-road mileage may lie below 60 kmpl...
Currently, alloy wheel feature is not provided, just waiting for that to be
added to my brand new bike.
