REVIEW :Yamaha's pikup is very good.riding also batter than other bike BUT why? Yamaha should considor to milege because indian people look milage and they cant afford 55-60 milage. Great milage like SPLENDOR,BAJAJ.SO why yamaha company did not considor this point. N prise also very high than other bike. Bike should be affordable for custumour. Should YAMAHA Considar this?

REVIEW : My Bike is a 2004 black - Yamaha Libero. It is a Good bike
for city and long drive as the design of the bike is such that u wont get
back pain when u ride for long. The libero is styled very good with
aerodynamics that's why it is stable at high speeds and easy to handle. The
old headlight was also a part of this aerodynamics to tear through Air and
the light also was bright
It has given me a highest mileage of 75Km a litter on highway and average
of 55 to 60 in city. The Yamaha engine is very good and consistent. One of
my dads supplier who runs a small scale business has a G5, it has run
125000KM in the odometer and it still gives him average of 60 kmpl. (quite
shocking when i saw the odometer, he said daily he travels around Chennai
and outside on bike to meet his customers )
My friends change bike after 3 yrs , like bajaj bikes , mainly ..
the hero honda bikes with the 98cc engines are still going on. The splendor
and passion for mileage but they drop as they get old in most cases.
Maintenance for Libero is quite simple :>
I have not spend anything to maintain other than the
. regular oil change at 2500 to 3000 km
. once in 2 months checking and adjusting the chain, clutch and brakes
. once in a year service
. the most important is a cleaning every week . and wash if required during
rainy seasons.
It is very important you maintain your libero. It will return you with good
mileage , no maintenance no comfort riding. This is all I have to
say, now you can ask me any question on this bike.

REVIEW : hi, i m ajay from chennai, i feel yamaha libero is quite
better in performance when it is not given for service in authorized service
centers, it gives millege across 45-55, the only problem is with service,
here Paras motors service is very bad they just note down the complaints but
doesn't rectify it. once bike is taken delivery after service same problem
exists along with certain new problems, this makes maintainence cost more.
yamaha should defenitely look into this and rectify service process.

REVIEW : Hi, I am a planning professional, I have been through all
the review done previously by others. I dont find any sense in them most of
the people do not know themselves what they are looking for , some say the
mileage is good but no pick up, sound contradictory. I find my bike one of
the best in it category , although its been 5 years it still gives me a
better mileage and riding comfort. Most people do not have an idea that 4
stroke bikes need heating in cold climate. Unnecessary choke will do no
good. As the bike maker says please read the riders manual. To know your
bike better.

Bangalore.I dont have more problems in my bike, only the problem is more
sound in engine. I have already informed to rectify. But they are doing the

services the billing is more the 900rs to 1000rs.With out any proper job.Now
i am giving my yamaha libero g5 in local services garage. Now it is up to the
mark. I am not telling about the sparparts. It is only for services.

REVIEW : I bought a Yamaha Libero G5 no 14/2/08. (Brand new)
One thing I am willing to ask,
IF I start the bike in cold weather (18-22 c) it needs choke lever to be in
ON position. Thats ok, BUT,
After a few minutes of raving the engine and 5-10 minutes of ride (with
choke lever On), if I turn the choke liver to OFF position, the engine tends
to TURN OFF if I increase the accelerator!!
After riding for more than 15 minutes, the engine gets normal and responds
normally with the Choke liver in OFF position.
Now, is it normal for Yamaha Libero? Arent few minutes of mild raving
and 5-10 minutes of riding (with choke on) not enough to turn the CHOKE
Lever to off position?
Please Help. Is there anything I can do?

REVIEW : For milage it is good. But I am riding this for last 18
months. Problem with kick start in the cold climate, no pick-up
(understandalbe), front break and gear box. Yamaha should change its new
gear boxes with old Yamaha RX-100 gear box.It was too cool.

REVIEW : The libero G5 I purchased has a better styling than the
bikes of its range n if talking abt engine its a city bike with a good sound
n is pleasure giving as its sound is very light......n plz remember its
yamaha. This bike is not meant for stunting so i think its power is ok(106
cc). If u want a bike for stunt go for karizma or pulsar 200.

REVIEW : I owned YAMAHA G5 on January of 2007, bike is looking good
with good engine, less vibration, but gear system/neutral is not good, I am
getting afraid of gear box. Everytime I am riding, becuase it is producing
lot of sound while transfering gear level and it is not seating properly
while changing gear. Yamaha is to be correct this, otherwise there is no
use!!!

cc. Approximately 8.5 bhp, max speed 90 km/h.

REVIEW : I purchased the bike on Dec 2005. I covered more than 30000
Kms on this bike. I would like to share my experience with this bike to
all.Let me first tell about the engine. Its very good. The performance,
durability and fuel efficiency of this engine is great for a bike in kind. I
had no problems with the engine so far. And it is silent.
Apart from the engine, frankly, all other components of this machine are
poor. The suspension of both front and rear are good only for riding on
highways.
The gear box was not at all bad, but I am getting neutrals when it is not
needed (false neutral) and not getting neutral properly when it is needed
(For instance, i have to stop quickly in top gear, and need to move to
neutral).
The headlight is not much good and i find problems with night driving.
Another seriuos issue is with braking. Without a pillion rider, the machine
is skidding if the road is wet. The switches, indicators are made out of low
quality materials.

BREAKING HOWEVER ON INSTANT DEMAND OF PICK UP YOU WILL FEEL THE THROTTLE IS

CITY CONDITION IT GIVES 60-65.

REVIEW : I purchased Yamaha Libero in July 2004. I liked its style
and smooth and silent beating. But It has the gear/clutch problem
It will not come to Neutral smoothly. Even the green neutral indicator
glows ..
it will be in some gear (I/II).
Also some times even if you hold clutch fully, it will be in gear and stops
engine suddenly and making you out of balance.

it a 150 cc 12bhp bike, then no other can beat it, dont listen to fat

REVIEW : Milage is good, riding gives a good feeling, one should
appreciate the smoothness of sound and riding feeling.
Pick-up is average,(since engine is tuned to possible full extent to result
good milage)
It must have had sturdy head light and back mud guard is very
ordinary.Still I prefer Libero LX to any other two wheelers in this
category.

REVIEW : I have purchased YAMAHA LIBERO in march 2004 from Shakthi
motors, 946 Poonamalle high road, Chennai.
Shockingly , on the 1st week of April , I found rusting in the Rim,
Silencer and Bore. Also i informed immediately to the dealer( Shakthi motors
) and i was assured that it will be replaced. Later I was informed that due
to non-availability of spares it will be replaced very soon.
After sometime , I came to know that their dealership is cancelled. I
approached your people and I was directed to PARAS YAMAHA, Chennai -6. For
my further replacement of the defected parts. There they exchanged me the
silencer.
But the mileage is very poor. Its giving only 50-55 KMPL but they
advertised it to be 85 KMPL. Atlast Yamaha has also started cheating the
public.... Its painful to know this after having Yamaha bikes for more than
12 years
