Yamaha VMAX, the ultimate muscle bike is the outcome of its evolutionary journey. A sneak peak at some of the interesting facts of Yamaha VMAX.

John Reed, an English designer was contracted by Yamaha to design the recently launched super-bike in India - Yamaha V-Max.
Yamaha V-Max was launched in the year 1985.
The iconic bike also earned the title "Bike of the Year" from Cycle Guide.
Yamaha VMAX is also the Motorcyclist Magazine's best Cruiser of the Year.
Yamaha V-Max is considered to be one of the best-selling Japanese motorcycles ever since its launch.
It is said that Honda X-4 was developed to beat the Yamaha V-Max in the two wheeler market. But unfortunately, the production process of Yamaha V-Max continued just for 6 years.
The original V-Max was sold through the Star Motorcycles division of Yamaha Motorcycles till year 2007.
The 1985 and 2007 models of Yamaha V-Max are almost alike except very few and minor modifications in the latter version.
