Kelvinator started the Avanti corporation as an automobile company. It was sold to Pacco in 1999 who incorporated it into their moped manufacturing facility and renamed it as Monto Motors. Today, Monto Motors is manufacturing a wide array of product starting from mopeds to cranks and shafts. The company has a very efficient team of workers headed by the chairman Mr. Chand Mehta and The President Mr. Abjit Singh Gulati.

Monto Motors has planned to expand its business and in this vein, they started a phased relaunch of its mopeds in Tamilnadu. The company is also working to strengthen its dealer network. They have a plan to add at least 100 more dealers to the present 150 nationwide dealers.
